I did promise to put up some poetry, so here they are. There's some influence from the Chinese Tang and Song poetry I read recently, but I have found I'm applying classical forms better and more conciously.

Little sprouts of green escape
The prison of earth's embrace.
Grey mists washed off his face
Welcome spring.
When the sun arrives, will we
Go down to the river and watch
The new leaves bloom? You bring a
Soft blanket, and I will bring the wine.
Don't young flowers fall and float downstream?
Fill the cups and we will laugh,
Following the delicate flowers in the water
And getting the blanket wet
When the cups are empty we'll be full
Of spring's new life, the earth is
Not so cold in the embrace.
Young blossoms in spring are so sweet!

Half the day is already gone and
The sun change hue, shimmering through the
Shutters. Throw them open! Why
Shouldn't the sky come in? Why the
Soft pillows and sweet perfume should hide
I'll never know.

I brewed the coffe so we
Could share some
In the morning.
It would be nice, I think,
To sit and
Share something.

What is love's fate?
Be my Xiang Yu and
I'll be Yu Ji.
Only Heaven will divide us.

If fate does not allow
Us to remain in springtime,
Save your tears, remember
Qi people lament Heaven.

The forest path is overgrown,
No feet have trod here in years.
The partridge escapes the searching
Hound, and seeks another home.
