Chapter 5: I’m sorry…
Two day passes since he come back from Tokyo which also mean he hasn’t meet with Ryosuke for four days including the day he spend at his parent house. His mind keep on thinking how can he save Ryosuke from that jerk Arioka. “Does Ryosuke know that his spouse cheat behind him?” He questioning himself.
He just finished his work and since it’s so boring to stay inside his office; Yuto decided to go walking. And by saying walking… it’s mean with his car. Driving quite far from his office and stopped near a park. “I wish Ryosuke is here to cheer me on.” He whispered while gazing up at the blue sky. Back there, if he feel so boring, Yuto know what can cheer him up. Just seek from Ryosuke and tease the latter. Yup! That’s one of the best memory I had ever have in my life…
“Yuto-nii!!”
Yuto tilt his head to the right side when he hear someone shouting his name. Yuto smile and wave his hand toward Yuusuke who’s currently running toward his place. “Hey Yuusuke, what’re you doing here?” Yuto asked the little boy when he finally arrive and sit next to Yuto at the bench on the park.
“Playing! Today’s a day off so I wanted to play all day!!” Yuusuke replied excessively excited.
Yuto chuckles and pat his head. “You’re so energetic… make sure not to harm yourself okay.” Yuto said and Yuusuke nodding his head understanding.
“Ah!” Yuusuke snapped and suddenly looking so serious toward him. Yuto couldn’t help but feeling curious. “Nee Yuto-nii… I heard you punched Dai-papa, nande?”
“Erk…” Yuto frowned. If Yuusuke ask him that question then there’s a chance that Ryosuke also already know about it. Yuto lose his word; he can’t directly say that his father was caught cheating on his mom. “Etto…” Yuto evert his eyes from Yuusuke while rubbing the back of his neck. “Gomen nee Yuusuke-kun. But I seriously can’t tell you why.”
Yuusuke pout his lip. “Ehh~~ nande? All I know was that mama said that it’s just a misunderstanding. Mama said that Yuto-nii was not a bad person.”
“Ah, sou…” Yuto replied faintly. It’s quite shocking to know that Ryosuke actually defending him. Yuto crave a tiny smile. “Sou, Yuto-nii is not a bad person. It’s just a misunderstanding, we’re okay now.” Yuto-nii just a little bad because wanting to steal you and your mom from your dad.
Realizing that Yuusuke was alone, Yuto look around. “Are you playing alone here?”
Yuusuke shake his head. “Mom was here but then he goes to the toilet. He will be back soon.”
He don’t know why, but deep inside his heart tell him to not leave the little kid alone. Yuto should wait until Ryosuke come if he wanted to go even though that he really wish that he won’t have to face the latter since he will feel so uncomfortable or guilty? He just punched Ryosuke spouse right, he afraid that Ryosuke will get mad at him for that reason. But why he still can’t bring himself to leave the park. Silently watching Yuusuke playing with the other kids there. This feeling is weird… why did I have it? And why to Yuusuke?
“Hey…”
A voice coming from his back broke Yuto thought earlier. It’s Ryosuke, the latter currently smiling at him. “Can I sit with you?”
“S-sure… go ahead.” Yuto answered, a little twitchy.
Silent engulfing both of them when Ryosuke take the place next to him. Yuto feel a few drops of cold sweat rolling down his face as he wait for Ryosuke to open his mouth. “So, I heard you punched Daiki…” Ryosuke said, finally breaking the silent awkward between them.
“Y-yeah… I did; gomen, I just can’t control myself that time.”
Yuto ready to heard Ryosuke throwing harsh words to him for doing that, but out of his expectation; Yuto see Ryosuke chuckles. “You don’t have to say sorry… it’s just a misunderstanding. Daiki was forced to join that mixer by his friends.” Ryosuke explained the real situation that happened that night.
“I-I seriously don’t know…” Yuto answered dumbfounded. Daiki wasn’t cheating and he had punched the latter. Gosh! What have I done!! Yuto thought. But what surprising him the most is that Ryosuke actually not mad at all knowing that Yuto had punched his spouse. It leave Yuto in wonder…
“Aren’t you angry with me?”
“Why should I?” Ryosuke ask him back. “To tell the truth, I was actually a little happy because it shows how much you cares about me.”
Yuto become more bewildered. Wait! Isn’t that mean that Ryosuke still love me? But… what about his spouse? “Ryosuke, do you still love me?” Yuto said, directly asking the latter his confusedness.
Ryosuke crave a faint smile, he had made up his mind; he shouldn’t run away from his own feeling, he wanted to be honest- but suddenly…
BUKK!!
Both Yuto and Ryosuke attention move to Yuusuke who was trying to get up from the ground. Suspecting that his son just tripped and collapse; Ryosuke dashed toward his aid with Yuto following him behind. Ryosuke sigh and shake his head as he help Yuusuke to stand straight. “Mou~~ I told you to be careful” Ryosuke said, lightly scolding his son while his hand wiping the dirt of the little kid clothes.
“Does it hurt anywhere?” He asked worriedly, check left and right through his son body to search if he got hurt anywhere.
Feeling a little guilty because he just make his mother worried, Yuusuke lowering his head as his nod and show his mother his bleeding hand. Yuto can see how the little kid trying to not shed tears. It’s surprising that he really did not crying while Ryosuke gently treating his bleeding hand with a handkerchief. This kid sure is a tough one.
“Gomen…” A faint apology coming from Yuusuke mouth after Ryosuke finish plastering the several cuts on his hand.
Yuto know Yuusuke is not at fault here. He’s just a little kid and it’s common if a kid being overly excited while playing. Somehow, he feel he need to do something, so Yuto crouching down next to Ryosuke and pat Yuusuke head. “Don’t do it again okay… you’re worrying us especially your mom.” Yuto said, softly comforting the little kid.
“Okay since it already lunch time, why don’t we have lunch together Yuusuke. You can eat what you want because Yuto-nii will pay.” Yuto said and stand up again.
Upon hearing the ‘lunch’ word… Yuusuke face beaming again. He started to jumping and nodding his head- totally forgetting his hurtful hand. How easy to deceive a little kid~ “Mama can us?” Yuusuke turn his head toward his mother, asking for his permission.
“Your mom can come too…” Yuto added more and pray in his heart that Ryosuke won’t reject his offer this time; and god grant his wishes. Ryosuke shrugged and nodding his head agreeing with his idea making Yuto’s soul to jump out from his body. - He catch it back since Yuto need his soul to bring them to eat.

As soon as Yuto car arrive at his house, Yuusuke jumped out from the car; leaving his mother and Yuto behind. “Thanks for everything Yuto.” Ryosuke thanked the taller guy after he go out from the car.
“This is nothing compared to my happy feeling. I was hoping for more but… well; I know it’s impossible.” Yuto answered, receiving a confusing look from Ryosuke.
“What do you mean?”
Yuto roll his eyes while resting the back of his body on his car. “Forget it…” He answered, quite disappointing that Ryosuke couldn’t catch up his hint. Okay… forgive me for behave badly.
“Oh, okay…”
“Anyway, where’s he? I thought I will see him. I’m thinking of apologizing to him.” Yuto asked while his eyes roaming around the area. Unfortunately he see no sign of Arioka Daiki there.
“Daiki probably at his university, studying hard.”
“Wait! He still studying? How old actually he is?”
“Younger than both of us; you don’t know?” Ryosuke asked Yuto who’s still shocked to know that Ryosuke marrying with someone younger than him. Yuto blink his eyes few time and massaging his forehead. If he heard one more shocking news after this; he might collapse. So many things happen in just four years… it’s hard to believe everything;
When Ryosuke saw Yuto suddenly massaging his forehead while creased badly, his worried feeling drew him to nearing the latter. Checking if Yuto is alright. “Are you okay?” Ryosuke asked and Yuto answered with nodding his head lightly.
“Maybe I need some rest.”
“You should, I don’t know what you have been through all this time Yuto but… you sure look so tired. Please take care of yourself more okay. I don’t want to hear someday you collapse because overworked.”
“I’ll be okay if you kiss me.” Yuto said, teasingly. He don’t know what make him to say those words. It’s so wrong to ask Ryosuke to kiss him. He’s not his fiancée or secret lover anymore. Maybe, the way Ryosuke talk and hearing how the latter are worried with his health awakening Yuto old self. The almighty and self-centered prince charming- that nickname dies along with his love toward Ryosuke four years ago. Now that he finally meet the latter again; words like that suddenly popped out from his mind.
Ryosuke clicked his tongue. He can never do that. Well, like he can do it before. He never kisses Yuto; it’s always the latter who was kissing him. He would rather die than kiss. And nothing change; he would not do it before and not also today. “You can’t force me…”
“Ouh~ this patient need his favorite doctor care to stay healthy.” Yuto answered; pleading toward the latter. As he expected, Ryosuke aren’t shaken even a bit with his stupid plead.
“Then go to the hospital. I’m not a doctor.”
Yuto chuckles, he know Ryosuke is not that easy to lose. Well, at least he know Ryosuke aren’t avoiding him anymore. He might have a chance to win him back one day; sooner or later. “Okay you win, I lose… sorry for asking such a stupid thing. I know you hate me~” Yuto answered; pretend to be sulking with the latter.
“How many time I have told you… I DIDN’T HATE YOU NAKAJIMA YUTO!”
“Liar…”
“I’m not a liar!” Ryosuke retorted. Starting to lose his temper.
“Yes you are… you didn’t wanna kiss me.”
“Not kissing you can’t prove that I’m a liar; Yuto this is nonsense!”
“No, It’s actually a big prove that you hate me!”
“Yuto I LOVE YOU! So there’s no way I’ll hate you!! NEVER!!” Ryosuke exclaimed loud and clear. Completely shutting Yuto up from saying anything in respond. Ryosuke avert his eyes from Yuto. “So please… please don’t say that I hate you; I can’t hate you even if I want too.” He whispered.
“Did you just say that three words?” Yuto asked, eyes start to beam.
He should go now; he just confessed his feeling toward Yuto and he’s so damn embarrassed about it. “I need to go now.” Ryosuke quickly bow his body a little and running away toward his house. He serious want to bury himself alive. It’s embarrassing but in the same time… refreshing. Though that it happen because of anger, confession is still a confession. At last; he manage to tell Yuto his feeling. But because of that… I doesn’t want to meet with him in the sort time!
Meanwhile Yuto still struck with Ryosuke sudden confession. He can’t stop smiling and grinning idiotically. He didn’t mean to force the latter. But he also can’t pretend that he didn’t heard anything. He wait for that words to come out from Ryosuke mouth and finally he get it. In unexpected way ofcourse.
I’m soooooo happy!!!

Yuusuke happily skipping around his house. Usually if he already get his stomach full; all left was get ready to take a nap. But today, he just feel a slightly more energetic than usual. Walking pass his mother’s bedroom and stopped when he saw the door are slightly opened. Realizing that his mother are nowhere to be seen, Yuusuke saw this as an opportunity to broke into his mother’s bedroom. Without any hesitation, slowly he pushed the door in and walk inside.
First spot was the bed- climbing up and jumping as high as he can. It always so fun to play with his mother’s bed. Wider and bouncier. Fun time goes on until suddenly he lost his balance and almost fall down the floor. “Ittaii~~” Yuusuke hissing in pain while holding his head.
When he is about to slide down from the bed, his feet kicked something like a box which located below the bed. Only a little part of the box are exposed, the rest remain hidden below. Yuusuke kneel down and pull the box out. The box look like it hasn’t been used for a long time. Thick dust are covering the lid but Yuusuke can still read what is written on it.
“Etto… Na.Ka.Ji.Ma… Yu… to?” He said, spelling the words that written on top of the box.
“Hmm…” He thought; wondering why this box stay there alone. “Nakajima Yuto? Nakajima Yuusuke?”
“Yuto-nii?”
“Souka!!” Yuusuke suddenly exclaimed. “Yuto-nii must have some connection with papa. He’s his younger brother!” He guessed then gasped and jumping excitedly. “Then its mean Yuto-nii knows where papa is!!”
“Yuu-chan!”
Yuusuke turn his head toward the door and saw his mom currently looking at him. He quickly kick back the box below the bed and flashing an innocence smile toward his mother. “Yes mom?”
“How many times have I told you, never mess up mom’s room… now look at what you have done. The bedsheet now is in mess.” Ryosuke said while pointing his finger toward his already so messy bed.
“Now go play somewhere else.”
“Hai~~~” Yuusuke answered and dash out from the room, leaving his mom alone to clean the mess he just made there.

“Hey Hikaru… why I rarely seen Yabu nowadays working at the restaurant? Did you two have a quarrel again?” Haruna asked but Hikaru just answered with shrugging his shoulder then walk to the back door toward the staff room. Haruna creased her forehead, she’s so confused now. “Can someone explain to me what is going on with those two?” She said, generally asking everyone inside the restaurant her question.
“It’s a serious fight this time.” Ryosuke appeared from her back, giving the answer she want. “They said that they aren’t fit to be together and now… on verge of breaking up.”
“What?! How can it happen? They’re good together before right.”
Ryosuke sigh and take a sit next to her. “Well… rumor said that Yabu cheat behind his back.”
“Eh??!!!” Haruna exclaimed, totally dumbstruck with the sudden news. “How can that possibly happen?”
“Don’t ask me…” Ryosuke replied nonchalantly while shrugging his shoulder. He just heard the rumor and still hard to believe it. He try once to ask Hikaru what happen but the latter just shut his mouth and walk away. Just can hope thing will get better…
