Chapter 12
It was a fine day, it’s not so hot and also not so windy. A perfect weather for a couple to spend their time together. Chinen sit next to the counter at the dining room while waiting for Ryutaro to finish making their drink. It was weekend and Yuto and Keito already out to the game arcade, so it was just the two of them at Chinen house currently.
“Your drink… today I make it a little bit different than before… its latte.” Ryutaro explained as he put a cup of hot coffee latte in front of Chinen.
As soon as Ryutaro put the cup in front of him, Chinen could smell the mild smell of coffee mixed with milk. “Itadakimasu!” Chinen said and start to drink it. “Delicious!” He commented after the first taste.
“Yup, look who make it for ya’” Ryutaro said with a smug face.
Chinen rolled his eyes; “Don’t be so confident… there is a lot of thing you need to learn.”
Ryutaro leave Chinen at the counter and come back later with another cup of latte on his hand. “And this one have art on it.” He said and shoving the cup to Chinen. The latte have a heart shaped art on it. “It has my love for you…” Ryutaro added more with a small but reassuring smile on his face.
Though that his phone already in vibrate mode, it’s still so disturbing when it keep on vibrating and make a light buzzing sound. Chinen creased his face badly as he saw Ryutaro refuse to pick up who ever had calling him. “Why don’t you answer it?” He asked.
“Nah… it’s not important. I will shut it down so that you will not feel disturbed by it anymore okay.” Ryutaro said and immediately shut down his phone and put it inside his jeans pocket.
Chinen should feel happy that the annoying sound finally gone but somehow, why he still felt so disturbed. Not by the sound anymore… but with Ryutaro acts. He refuse to answer the call though that it was ringing about six to seven times already. I wonder… hmm..;
“Chii, look at me!” Keito said as his hand get a hold of Chinen shoulder tightly. He wanted Chinen to stop running away and listen to him. “Okay, you can look away if you feel comfortable that way but please… just listen okay!” He begged to him. Chinen refuse to look at him and look away. He didn’t say anything either.
“I really did saw them together… I’m not lying! I also don’t know what happen but my eyes can’t lie to me.”
“But Ryu… Ryu, he… we;” Keito who still holding Chinen shoulder could feel that Chinen is shaking. His intention was not to make the latter goes sick but just to inform him that he was played by his own boyfriend.
Chinen bites his lower lips and as hard as he can, he try to break away from Keito holds. “I don’t believe you! There was no way that Ryu will betray me!” Chinen shouted out loud and harshly push Keito body before he run away.
“So, Keito was right…”
“Eh? Keito? Chii, it’s not like what you had thought!” Ryutaro grab hold of Chinen hand when the latter was about to leave the room after throwing a disgusting look toward him. “Wait, let me speak…”
“No! you don’t have to explain anything! I can clearly saw what was happening here!”
“No, you not! Chii please listen to me!” Ryutaro begging to Chinen but the latter shake his head followed with a faint sobbing sounds. “Chii…”
“Let’s break up.”
“Eh….!?”
“You don’t have to hide it… just break up with me and tell that you didn’t love me anymore… it’s better than watching you like this.” Chinen said slowly without looking at Ryutaro and just leaning his head down. Chinen slowly stepped backward after he feels that Ryutaro were not holding him anymore-

Chinen slowly opening his eyes. His room still in dark but when he hear a faint sound of birds chirping outside… he realize that it’s already morning. His eyes is a little bit hurt and his head is spinning. When he touches his eyes, there was some trace of dried tears at the corner of his eyes. “Did I cried last night?”
Chinen doesn’t wanna get up since his head feel so painful right now. So he lay there on his bed while gazing up at the ceiling. What Ryutaro had said to him yesterday end up making him to have that kind of dreams. His words make a riddle inside Chinen mind. I never betray you! It was all a big misunderstanding! I was trapped!

A huge feeling of guilty come rushes toward his whole body. “Yeah… I was wrong- it was me…” Chinen whispered. He couldn’t bear it anymore and close his eyes as a few drops of tears, rolling down from the corner of his eyes. He was stupid… he was so stupid because refuse to let Ryutaro talk. Even if he cried hard until his eyes is red… thing can’t be returned. He is in a mess right now… so confuse and helpless…
“Yuto… Ryu... gomen nasai;”

“Ryosuke listen to me!” Yuto shouted toward Ryosuke who is playing deaf with him since he arrived at his house this morning. It’s the first day of summer school holiday and Yuusuke didn’t have to go to school. The little boy could only look in confused toward his mother and Yuto. But he thought that it was something interesting to watch so he jump up from the couch and following Yuto to the kitchen.
“Look! I know it was hard for you but, this is something that we should do.” Yuto trying to confirming Ryosuke. But the latter still refuse to look at him and always move away each time Yuto come to him.
“Ryo-chan~ onegai… please talk to me!” Yuto begged to him and trapped Ryosuke in front of the sink. Well, he never win stand seeing Ryosuke ignoring him. He hate it very much!
“No! I am not agree with it.” Ryosuke finally talk to him. “Mom already shocked enough when I told her that I’m married with Daiki! Guess what will happen if suddenly I appear again and this time with you, just to inform that I had lied and this kids with me was your son- I’m not shocked if she faint that time… and hell, I don’t want that to happen.” Ryosuke face cringe when he said that; showing that he really hope that it won’t happen like that. “And how about your parent? I bet they would also be so shock; knowing that their only son already a father at such a young age…”
“But… but, I still didn’t thought it wrong! As our parent; they should know;”
Ryosuke rolled his eyes. “You’re acting unreasonable here Yuto… you wanted to tell them? Then how about Yuusuke? He’s going to be left behind here! You don’t wanna tell him yet you tend to reveal this matter to the world?” Ryosuke said and then sighed. He turned around and back-facing Yuto. “You’re going to hurt your son Yuto… and me too” He added more in whisper.
Yuto was left speechless. He can’t argue anymore with Ryosuke. “You right…” He said, “I’m sorry… I just wanted to end this quickly.” Yuto lean his hand forward and take a hold of Ryosuke right hand. “I just want us to be happy, I want to be with you, with Yuusuke… without have to thought of that I’m not part of this family.”
“That I’m actually belong to someone else…”
Ryosuke turn his head to Yuto, the latter face looked sad; “Why did you say like that?” He asked; somehow… he could feel that there is something that Yuto hide from him. Things that lead him to such a rushes decision. Ryosuke eyes goes wider when he finally realize what Yuto is trying to say. “Chinen-san?” Ryosuke said and Yuto nodded his head.
“After you left me… I got engaged with Yuri; and I’m now still his fiancée.”

“Are you trying to avoid men because of this?” Yuto asked when he saw Ryosuke making a huge gap between them. “It was not all my fault. I didn’t have any choice. You left me with a broken heart… I was forced to cut our relationship; I was trapped between my love for you and Yuri;”

“Yuri-sama, I bring your dinner… please open this door.” Shouted a middle-age lady who worked as a maid at Chinen house. She knocked the door several times but useless. She sighed and glace beside the door, this morning breakfast and lunch were still remain untouched. She put the tray containing Chinen dinner next the door and take her young master breakfast and lunch to throw it away.
“Yuri-sama, I leave your food here at the door. Please come out and eat. If you still refuse to do so… I have no other choice but to tell ma’am.” Though that she had threated that she will tell Chinen mother, there is still no sign that the latter will soon open the door. She give up and walk away; with hoping that Chinen will take a bite of his dinner; though even just a bit is enough.
He lie if he said that he wasn’t afraid of that thread. Chinen lazily get up from his bed and walk slowly to the door. Slightly open it, giving enough space for him to reach his food and take it inside. He put the tray on the coffee table and sit at the couch.
“Itadakimasu!” Chinen said and start digging in.
But unfortunately, his appetite is not reach even half of the food. He eat so little, and already full. Well, at least he eat right- now his mom will not scold him for not eating anything the whole day. Chinen get up and bring the food to put it back beside the door outside his room.
Chinen sit on his bed. After been thinking for a whole day, he realize that there is a lot of thing that he don’t know… he reach for his phone and press the power button. He had put his phone switch off the whole day. “Oh, that was quite a lot…” He muttered while looking at the screen. There were 5 missed call and 3 message in his inbox. All of it were from the same sender- Keito…
‘Chii, why didn’t you answer the call? Are you home?’
Chinen open the second message- ‘Chii, what is going on, why didn’t you answer my call and reply my message?’
And then he open the last one- ‘I’m worried about you Chii, so I’m coming to your house.’
“Damn!” Chinen cursed and throw his phone on the bed before he slam the door open and run to the entrance door below. But he was too late; Keito already there inside his house. The latter is currently have a talk with one of Chinen maid at the living room. Chinen stopped at the stairs and gulped hard. He knows, Keito is digging out about him from his maid. “This is bad… I might get scolded.”
“Thank you for telling me;” Keito thanked the maid for the information and ready to go to Chinen rooms. But half way, he meet with the latter currently standing at the stairs. “Chii… I heard you refuse to go out; why are you here?” He asked and Chinen fidgeted.
“Ummm… greeting you; maybe…” He said slowly and when he see Keito creased his face- he know he is in big trouble. “Or maybe not…” Chinen make a quick step up stair again and running to his bedroom before locking himself inside again.
“Chii, open this door!!” Keito shouted from outside. He try to pull the doorknob but no use. “Chii I’m warning you… open this door immediately!”
“No!” Chinen shouted from behind the door.
“Why!?”
“Because you will definitely scold me!”
“I’m not going to scold you, I just want to talk! But if you still refuse to open this door… I’ll really get mad and scold you for sure!”
Keito stopped knocking the door when he hear a clicking sounds and slowly the door is pulled back. Chinen appear behind the door while pouting his lips. “Promise…”

After sure that Keito won’t scold him, Chinen finally letting Keito inside his room. “Why are you here? And how was England?”
Keito take a sit at the couch. “Hmmm… normal; everything was good.” He replied nonchalantly. “Forget about England… Chii, what is wrong with you?” He asked Chinen with a stern voice. He is not mad, just asking him… he keep his words.
“I’m fine…” Chinen lied to Keito and slowly take a step backward; earning a glare from his bestfriend.
“You know chii… even though it been a long time since I meet you; I still remember that you’re the worse liar in this world.”
“I’m not lying… its true!”
“Ah sou… then can I ask you something else?”
“S-sure…”
“How is your relationship with Yuto?”
“Umm… fine; good….”

“It’s not about him…”
“Then who?”

“You?” Keito replied while tilting his head, wondering about what happened to the latter.

“No, Chii I never told you but… all of this happen because of me.” Keito said; he sit straight up and inhale deeply. It’s time to tell the true…
“Wait; I don’t understand… how can my problem are connected with you?”

Ryosuke pulled his son body into his arms; hugging his smile figure. He was happy, so happy that Yuusuke wasn’t mad at him. Yuto was right; it was him that always having lot of negative thought. He was so afraid of everything-
Trust me, trust our feeling; I love you Ryosuke and I won’t leave you again…
“Yup, papa will come back…” Ryosuke said softly. I know he will… I trust him!

“Yuri-sama, I bring your dinner… please open this door.” Shouted a middle-age lady who worked as a maid at Chinen house. She knocked the door several times but useless. She sighed and glace beside the door, this morning breakfast and lunch were still remain untouched. She put the tray containing Chinen dinner next the door and take her young master breakfast and lunch to throw it away.
“Yuri-sama, I leave your food here at the door. Please come out and eat. If you still refuse to do so… I have no other choice but to tell ma’am.” Though that she had threated that she will tell Chinen mother, there is still no sign that the latter will soon open the door. She give up and walk away; with hoping that Chinen will take a bite of his dinner; though even just a bit is enough.
He lie if he said that he wasn’t afraid of that thread. Chinen lazily get up from his bed and walk slowly to the door. Slightly open it, giving enough space for him to reach his food and take it inside. He put the tray on the coffee table and sit at the couch.
“Itadakimasu!” Chinen said and start digging in.
But unfortunately, his appetite is not reach even half of the food. He eat so little, and already full. Well, at least he eat right- now his mom will not scold him for not eating anything the whole day. Chinen get up and bring the food to put it back beside the door outside his room.
Chinen sit on his bed. After been thinking for a whole day, he realize that there is a lot of thing that he don’t know… he reach for his phone and press the power button. He had put his phone switch off the whole day. “Oh, that was quite a lot…” He muttered while looking at the screen. There were 5 missed call and 3 message in his inbox. All of it were from the same sender- Keito…
‘Chii, why didn’t you answer the call? Are you home?’
Chinen open the second message- ‘Chii, what is going on, why didn’t you answer my call and reply my message?’
And then he open the last one- ‘I’m worried about you Chii, so I’m coming to your house.’
“Damn!” Chinen cursed and throw his phone on the bed before he slam the door open and run to the entrance door below. But he was too late; Keito already there inside his house. The latter is currently have a talk with one of Chinen maid at the living room. Chinen stopped at the stairs and gulped hard. He knows, Keito is digging out about him from his maid. “This is bad… I might get scolded.”
“Thank you for telling me;” Keito thanked the maid for the information and ready to go to Chinen rooms. But half way, he meet with the latter currently standing at the stairs. “Chii… I heard you refuse to go out; why are you here?” He asked and Chinen fidgeted.
“Ummm… greeting you; maybe…” He said slowly and when he see Keito creased his face- he know he is in big trouble. “Or maybe not…” Chinen make a quick step up stair again and running to his bedroom before locking himself inside again.
“Chii, open this door!!” Keito shouted from outside. He try to pull the doorknob but no use. “Chii I’m warning you… open this door immediately!”
“No!” Chinen shouted from behind the door.
“Why!?”
“Because you will definitely scold me!”
“I’m not going to scold you, I just want to talk! But if you still refuse to open this door… I’ll really get mad and scold you for sure!”
Keito stopped knocking the door when he hear a clicking sounds and slowly the door is pulled back. Chinen appear behind the door while pouting his lips. “Promise…”
“Yeah; I promise…”
After sure that Keito won’t scold him, Chinen finally letting Keito inside his room. “Why are you here? And how was England?”
Keito take a sit at the couch. “Hmmm… normal; everything was good.” He replied nonchalantly. “Forget about England… Chii, what is wrong with you?” He asked Chinen with a stern voice. He is not mad, just asking him… he keep his words.
“I’m fine…” Chinen lied to Keito and slowly take a step backward; earning a glare from his bestfriend.
“You know chii… even though it been a long time since I meet you; I still remember that you’re the worse liar in this world.”
“I’m not lying… its true!”
“Ah sou… then can I ask you something else?”
“S-sure…”
“How is your relationship with Yuto?”
“Umm… fine; good….”
Keito rolled his eyes annoyingly. “See! That is why I said you are the worse liar. If it really happen like what you said, then why did you look so anxious? Your face turn paler when I mention Yuto… Chii, tell me what’s wrong…”
There more he wish he could hide, the more sadness he feel. Chinen gaze at Keito. “How did you know that I have a problem with Yuto?”
“I don’t know… that is why I ask you.” Keito sighed hard; but since Chinen had said like that, then the latter problem must be because of Yuto. “So I hit the point; well, I just randomly say something that could possibly be the cause of your problem… I don’t know that it really is about Yuto;”
“It’s not about him…”
“Then who?”
“Me…”
“You?” Keito replied while tilting his head, wondering about what happened to the latter.
“Um, it’s me…”
“Okay, can you tell me about it?”

Keito rested his back on the couch while slowly massaging his forehead. He never knew thing had gone this worse for his bestfriend. “I never should have leave your side… this is all my fault.” Keito said slowly. A huge regrets engulfing his heart at the moment. “I’m sorry Chii…”
“You don’t have to apologize, you did nothing wrong here;”
“No, Chii I never told you but… all of this happen because of me.” Keito said; he sit straight up and inhale deeply. It’s time to tell the true…
“Wait; I don’t understand… how can my problem are connected with you?”
“From the beginning… it was all because of me; because I hate Ryu.”
