So I watched Deathly Hallows part 1 last night, and it was a pretty awesome way to relive my old Harry Potter fandom days. I don't draw much HP fanart anymore, but back in the day I drew so much of it that a lot was just left to moulder in old sketchbooks or hard drives. A lot of things I thought, "Well, I'll finish this/ink this/color this someday

OMFG, this is utterly hilarious. I really could kick myself for not transferring all my ancient old fanart from my old hard-disk in Singapore (which has been dead for a year and a half now). I'd love to show everyone my old crap because it's so funny to look at now - it's great when you get past the point of wanting to hide in a corner just remembering the existence of these things.

Yeah, looking at the old stuff can be quite fun. Sometimes it's looking through the slightly more recent stuff (a few months to a couple years ago) that ends up being more mortifying for me. Sort of an artistic Uncanny Valley, maybe. XD

I didn't "abort" it as such; I just never got around to finishing it. And yes, you should dig up some of your old stuff as well. >:D
