Today is the year 2022 - 10 years after they graduated from McKinley. Did their lives turn out as planned?
(The second half is plot heavy, so I'd recommend you to avoid the comments & my notes until you have watched till the end. I doubt you'd want to be spoiled! D:)

So........how did you find it?
As usual, I didn't begin with a story. I picked a song and then built a story inspired by the music. For a long time I have wanted use this song, and when I started working on the vid, it was gearing up to be a sweet, romantic story (the first half was basically straight forward fluff).... Then....the sadist in me took over. D:
I cried a fair share of real tears when putting together the post-attack hospital scenes. Imagining Kurt's hopes and dreams for their future all shattered in one night, and the regret he must feel for not accepting Blaine's marriage proposal (or whatever else you'd prefer to interpret "now is the time to be adventurous" as). He thought there is no need to rush because they have many days ahead to experience all that they want in life, but suddenly he is faced with the possibility of living the rest of that life alone. The cruellest irony is that Kurt's dreams did come true - he is in New York, spending every day with Blaine. He just didn't know it would be spent sitting beside a hospital bed waiting for Blaine to wake up.
Gaaaawwwwd. I honestly am a sadist and masochist.
