I don't know why, but I almost always put this song on when I'm sad. I know the premise in itself isn't really that sad, but I guess since it's a "slow song," I'm kind of drawn to it that way when I'm not in the best of moods. I go to Linkin Park's first two albums a lot when I'm pissed off. The way they portray frustration and anger through their earlier music is amazing to me. I spent a great deal of time in my high school years screaming to this song.

Snow Patrol is a band I always come back to. I actually loosely based a fic off this song, and I can go fairly long periods of time without listening to them. I absolutely love this song, and I've gotta represent my backyard bands. If nothing else, I wish they'd play this song locally because TSS is from Scottsdale (about 20 minutes away from where I currently live). I never listen to the radio anymore, so yeah. I don't even remember the last song I heard on the radio. So I guess I'll go with a blast from the past song when I did listen to the radio. NOTE: I DO NOT LIKE THIS SONG. I HATE NICKELBACK. But sadly, by default/hearing it so much on the radio, I'm ashamed to say I do know all the words.

It's actually just about any Maroon 5 song off their first album. However, pretty much any job I've had has played this song over and over and over, hence completely killing it.

It's hard for me to think of a song that no one would expect me to love because I pretty much gush about any and every song I love. So I guess I'll just go with a song everyone in California seemed to hate and chastised me for loving, haha. I suppose I could see how it could get old (because the radio played it A LOT), but I always enjoyed it.
