Nghh my heart has just been ripped out and stomped upon. This was so good, excuse while I go cry for a bit.

Oh, and I just wanted to add that the story seem to change font about two-thirds through - right at the scene with Puck's facebook comment. I'm not sure if this was intentional or not, but it seemed strange that the font and style just changed, so I figured I'd point it out.

It should only be changing for the Facebook posts. I can't see different fonts on my computer, but I checked on my sister's and everything looked fine.

*blinks* For some reason the font looks normal, now. A third of the fic was in a completly different style (despite me hitting F5 several times) so I'm not sure what happened there, but alright *shrugs*

Oh, and I forgot to give props to the artists - again. The fanvid was very nice and I especially liked the banner, it definatly set me in the mood for reading and captured the tone of the entire fic. Nice work, insanityclings and coffee_in_bed_1.

This is very nicely written; I love the pacing and the way you build up Kurt's state of mind from start to finish, and deal with the downs as well as the ups of recovery. I particularly liked the scene with Tina in the nurse's office, and Kurt's interactions with Puck and Matt. Thank you for writing it!

Unfortunately I couldn't play the fanvid, but the banner is lovely, and really conveys a sense of isolation and depression and anger, as well as a kind of silent quality that resonates so strongly with Kurt's inability to talk in the fic.

Hi, gwendy1 - I suspect the problem was actually with my network; it tends to have issues and hitches late at night, and I was reading really late at night. I'll try again when I get home and if there are any more issues I'll let you know the details. :)

Okay, I can get emotional over fic, but this one? I honestly cried through at least half of it. It felt so real, so genuine, so very, very well written. I don't even know what to say, because, wow.

Oh, and to the "Mad World" video - this is so perfect for this fic. I really loved how it was done, and that you kept Karofsky's "I'll kill you" and Burt's epic "And it's my job to love you no matter what" in, and I think that simply all of the scene fit so well. <3

Utterly gorgeous and broken-hearted. Spot-on, almost too much so to take. This is beautiful.

The vid does a great job of using footage to create the universe we see here -- it's not much of a leap, is it?
