This was such an enjoyable read. And both pieces of art are fantastic.

I loved Blaine in this. Having little schemes of his own to hopefully get
Kurt. I also really liked Sam. He came out as of this story as the most mature one which is a nice thing.

Loved it :D

I really liked it. The characters rang true in a way they rarely do, and you made me really like Sam. The character of Blaine has drifted away from what he was back when you wrote this, but it could still be Sam and Kurt, and I liked how nothing about the fic was dramatic and yet it never stopped being interesting. Your writing was just on.

So thank you for a really great fic.

This was fantastic! I really like your Sam -- you did a great job fleshing out a character who hasn't always been consistent on the show. I especially loved the way you played with the sexual tension between them without having them ever cross the line to being more than friends.

And just a writerly thing that I loved: it was often ambiguous at the start of a section whether you were talking about Kurt or Sam. It was a really subtle, cool way to draw out parallels. The one that stood out the most was the section that starts with Why did I say that?

I wish we'd gotten more Kurt/Sam interaction on the show -- especially if it was as charming and sweetly awkward as this!

Thank you!

I wish we'd gotten more Kurt/Sam interaction on the show, too - I love the idea of him as a buddy for Kurt at McKinley, especially now that Kurt's gotten more used to hanging out with boys. Maybe once Kurt goes back or something.

And just a writerly thing that I loved: it was often ambiguous at the start of a section whether you were talking about Kurt or Sam. It was a really subtle, cool way to draw out parallels.

Thanks! I was hoping it went with subtle and parallel instead of confusing and unreadable.

Quick comment before I read, but what exactly went down? I know that everyone's been going batshit, but were new spoilers leaked today? Or are they just reacting to the old sexy and regionals stuff?

Just giant fighting on ever possible topic. Somebody brought the Bible into it. Like...wtf? Yeah. No, it wasn't over any new spoilers or even spoilers from Regionals as best I can tell, it didn't involve foam parties or anything. It was just...explosive. I have no idea if something else started it, by the time I saw anything (thanks only to my partner's tumblr blowing up) it was essentially just "omg I hate you! Your ship is stupid!" on like 17 different levels.

Actually...I take part of that back. It started over a lot of Klaine fans being sad that the Warblers are wrapped for the last time for the season, then all the Kum fans started in on "I don't give a damn about the Warblers, it's supposed to be a show about New Directions." Then it went downhill pretty quickly from there.

Oh, okay. Thanks for the info. Kinda just SMH at both sides right now.
Part of me thinks it's because we don't have an episode this Tuesday, so people are getting bored and stirring things up. *shrug*

The art was lovely, and balanced the story well. Sam was very well caught.

My end conclusion was 'boys really are a bit dim sometimes' these boys especially! I liked that you managed to make them all appealling and sympathetic none-the-less. It was nice to feel that they all got the ending they deserved, and that Sam & Quinn could reach an honest understanding.

I was kind of hoping that Blaine would show up so he and Sam could have some sort of bonding conversation entirely in Star Wars metaphors though!

LOL I think the Star Wars conversation needs to be a sequel!

Thanks for reading!
