This is just so amazingly well written that it almost brought tears to my eyes. It was just so moving and realistic, and it just pains me because things like what happen to Kurt in the fic really does happen in real life, and I think you portrayed it really well.

Love both your Puck and Kurt. And Burt is brilliant as usual~ The end is just perfect~!

Yay - I finally can take a moment to comment! ♥ You need to know that I love your fics and this one is a perfect example of why. The entire fic is just absolutely breathtaking and beautifully written. I would list what I love about it, but that would end up as long as the fic itself. The detail that you put into your fics always gets to me. And the emotion - "He had dirt on his white pants." - I definitely cried. Also, this fic inspired me to learn more about Harvey Milk - so thank you for that. ♥

The banner was fantastic, too. insanityclings, you did a wonderful job!

I really enjoyed reading! You've got a solid, moving plot that both showed Puck's family life (exactly like one would imagine it) and his undeniable soft side, and you wrote about the whole issue so well, dark and angsty and never over the top.
What I loved most were the interactions between the characters. Especially (besides Kurt und Puck themselves) Puck and Burt - they shared a lot of powerful and moving scenes (and I really love Burt, by the way). Also the short scene between Mercedes and Puck, when he tells her when he fell in love with her.
