IMPORTANT Announcement for Authors & Artists:
I have received several concerned messages about the deadlines for both the rough draft and the art. Don't be ashamed if you are struggling; I know Fall semester is interfering with a lot of our schedules big time. So, I am extending these deadlines. Rough Drafts must be submitted by August 31 and Art

Thank you so much for extending the deadline. It really crept up on me and I'm 5000 words short!

Just to make sure, we can still add a lot more to our story after the rough draft is in, right?

Yes, you can add more to the story after submitting the rough draft. ♥ Just make sure it's all beta read, final, and complete in time for the new final fic deadline! :)

to clarify, authors are also supposed to code the formatting tags within the story file?

If you can! It would help me out a lot! :) But don't worry too much if you can't; I'll try to catch any fics that need formatting and code it myself. I just don't want to miss any formatting that you intended to be included. It's not as necessary in the rough draft, but it would definitely be appreciated in the final submission on the new deadline of October 1st. ♥

I've sent mine in. Is there any way to get notification that it was received and in the proper format? I ask only because I'm paranoid by nature, and also because I write using a wps format, and then convert to docs when doing anything with what I've written. My faith in technology wavers on a daily basis. I just want to make sure everything is in form.

Oh, my! I'm so sorry if I've worried you over these deadlines. :( The deadline for art was on September 16 (I apologize for any confusion), but it has been extended further to be due on October 1. I hope these new deadlines bring you some comfort and provide enough time for you. :)

My beta is without an Internet connection at home. She goes out once a day so she can get online. My draft might be a day late, depending on when she gets it back to me. Hope that's okay. Sorry for the inconvenience.
