Title: One Quick Look As Each Of Them Leaves You

Summary: Kurt realizes very suddenly that he's lost the closest thing to a best friend he's ever had. As if that wasn't enough to send him spiralling into depression, the bullying increases on every front. Kurt finds it more difficult to deal every day, slowly losing his grip on the tiny glimmer of happiness he's managed to attain.

Author of Fic B here, writing to let anybody who's interested know that between the state of my life and the state of my RSI at the moment, there's no way i'm going to be able to finish the whole 60,000 word monstrosity by the final deeadline, let alone get it edited. What I'm going to do, therefore, is submit the first part and then continue the story in later rounds, if that's possible

by breaking it into parts, would you structure it like a series? If so, you are more than welcome to continue this in future rounds. However, I'd prefer you don't end the first part on a cliffhanger or an abrupt To Be Continued. Ack! We can continue this conversation at the check-in. You can answer this over there!

I could certainly structure it like a series. I don't particularly do cliffhangers, so that wouldn't be a problem...but there are natural transition points in the sequence of events that can certainly make for two or three linked stories. Each part deals with a separate set of 'challenges' so there are thematic divisions too.
