Just to be sure, are writers supposed to have their stories posted prior to the group date so that the artists can link to it on the posting date?

My story ran...long (30,000) so it will need to be in parts...

Generally, no, they'd need to be posted on the scheduled day (preferably in the morning) and then the artist would go from there, however you're in a no-artist group ( #7), so you'll be handling your posting completely.

Also, by parts you just mean broken up and multiple posts all at once, and not spreading out chapters, right? <3

Oops! Somewhere along the way, my addled brain turned that 7 to an 8. I've thought I was in 8...

Oh, and it's just really, really long, so no, not chapters, but "chunks," as it were... Probably 5 or 6.

And also, wah... Sorry to hear it. But then, now I get to change the story title and do my own banner...

On your posting day (as early as possible) you post your fic to where ever you normally would, and then you make sure your artist gets the link to it as soon as you're done. <3

Unfortunately, that writer dropped out at the last minute. Apparently their fic was very long and nowhere near finished.

You can upload your art to imgur, Photobucket, or any other photo hosting site -- but if you'd rather have it on a dA account, that's fine, as long as you don't upload it there until your posting date.

... which is today, so uh. Upload away! *facepalm*
