so, the short version is that monica fell in love with me, but didnt stop loving derek. so she didnt know what to do, ended up making a hasty decision to get back together with derek, but was still obviously in love with me. i started breaking down, she had to change something, she tried, failed, and then decided she cant be with either of us

It sounds like all three of you need to talk and lay everything out in an honest and open way. After its gone this far, I personally wouldn't stand for all that *this person knows X and Y and that person knows Q and R* stuff. That's just my two cents. Maybe three. :0)

Why is it me and you get stuck in situations like that? lol What Lena said makes huge loads of sense...everyone needs to know what everyone else knows. I think that would make decisions on everyone's part a bit clearer and easier. Love triangles=the suxor

I agree that you all need to talk about this. Maybe this will be the right steps to take in order for everything to get set in the right directions. Twisted triangles aren't always healthy. I'm not going the cliche route, I think the best thing to do is what's best for you. You always have my support in any of your decisions.
