** Technical Information **
** Pricing **
My prices are arrived upon by considering shipping costs, original cost of item, how much I paid, how much I want to get rid of (or keep) an item, and, sometimes, numbers I just pulled out of... thin air. The prices include the fees I get charged by Paypal (which is another reason multi-item orders get better discounts). You can make offers on my items and I just might say yes, especially if you're planning on getting several things, so feel free to negotiate, I don't think I'm that scary...
** Item Availability **
Negotiation = interest expressed but I may entertain other offers
Hold = items are on hold for the buyer, waiting for formalization of order
Pending/Trading = formalized order, waiting for payment to clear
Paid = payment received, mailing asap
Sold/Traded/Mailed = item is in the mail
A Hold gives you priority for an item, unless it is part of a set and another buyer wants the set. Pending gives you priority over any other buyers, but if you break a pending order (flake), you will not have priority on any subsequent order, no matter how close we are to finishing the transaction. Holds are for a subjective amount of time (usually a couple of days unless you request longer). If I don't hear back from you, I may think you are no longer interested and release the item in question to another buyer. Since I don't really want that kind of confusion to happen, please tell me one way or the other. If I mark an item on hold, it means that I really think you're getting it, please try not to keep me on the line if you're not interested, it costs me time, (potentially) money, and aggravates me. If it happens too much I won't be able to hold items (which I'd really like to avoid).
I'll try to mark things as on hold, pending, sold, etc as it happens, so just because someone comments that they want it, don't assume you can't get it; they might change their mind or something may come up. You won't know if you don't ask. People that back out of orders or give me a run-around may not be allowed to order, or may have lower priority in the future. Let me know if you decide against an item so I can move on to other buyers.

I do not like concealed cash because it has so much potential for hard feelings all around, but may accept it strictly at the buyer's own risk. Discuss it with me if it is necessary.
Trades, like concealed cash, go through the PO with limited recourse from my end. Postal insurance, delivery confirmation, etc. will not be applied unless we have mutually decided to include them. Small (value) trades don't really benefit from insurance and DC as the cost often outweighs the reimbursement, but trades usually run for an insurable amount, so just ask if you have any concerns.

MO and personal checks - snail mail is not 100% fool-proof. If your payment becomes lost in the mail, you should be able to get a refund at the PO or cancel the check (respectively).
Please include a note specifying what you are paying for regardless of the payment method. This just cuts down on confusion if there was negotiation or any change in your order. All sales are final so feel free to ask as many questions as you like beforehand.
** Putting Items on Hold **
Serious buyers can ask for items to be put on hold (7 days unless I am deeply moved). If you want an item held, please say so. If you don't specify, asking about an item does not necessarily put an automatic hold on it. I might accept a higher offer (or trade) unless you commit to buy. If you do not have the funds to pay at the time but really want an item, I may hold items for longer. Depending on the amount of time, I may require a non-refundable partial payment (amount variable per cost of items). That is strictly to protect me from fake/flake shoppers.
** Shipping in the US **
Prices are negotiable - I'm guessing as to the shipping on some items and, though I might need to get a certain amount back on an item, who knows, I might really need to sell something in the immediate. The word "shipped" after a price means that the price includes shipping to the continental US. Please note that I will do my best to ship within 48 hours after your payment has cleared, though there may be some delay for holidays and weekends. I will try to let you know when I ship you package, so you will have an idea of when to expect it.
I am located in the South-East US, so shipping may be slightly higher than listed to non-continental US, and the rest of the world, but I can check at the Post Office on an individual basis. That means that you absolutely must tell me if your zip is included in that list because if you don't tell me before you pay, the difference + $.30 for extra charges I'll have to pay to process your order correctly will be added to your total.
I will ship via media mail or first class padded envelope when possible. If you are concerned about the type of shipping, ask me about upgrading for the additional cost of your preferred shipping method. Insurance is extra and thus optional otherwise, but I am not responsible for packages after I ship them. I don't charge extra for packaging unless you specify that you must have brand new packaging (or I'm out) because I re-use whatever packaging I can (bubblewrap, envelopes, boxes, etc), but only if I am convinced they can ship safely).
** International Shipping **
I prefer to ship to the US, but will ship elsewhere if you pay the extra shipping (US cross-border rates have gone up). Who am I to say “no” if you live somewhere else and want to pay for the shipping? I recommend insurance on packages to anywhere outside of the continental US, but do not require it (I am not responsible for packages lost in the mail).
