So I found this Writer's Block Meme awhile back and started filling it out. I haven't completed all the questions yet but I thought I'd share what I've written so far (which is a lot). ^_^

Ooohh... I'm intrigued by your conversation excerpts from those Darkholme fics. I do like the idea of him interacting more with Kitty (even though I don't think I'm the one to write it). I like the thing you did there with comparing Kitty trying to befriend Darkholme in the present with Kurt W trying to befriend Kitty in the past. Would they get together in your story, or would it end up being a big mistake when Kitty realizes how different Darkholme really is...? (Your scene with Darkholme torturing the guy who was after Kitty seemed to be heading in that direction, maybe... But I could see it going a lot of different ways from the excerpts you have here.) I'm also intrigued by the possibility of Kurt W. meeting Darkholme, and how the Bamfs might be involved... I really hope you finish either or both of those stories! I'd love to read both

Oh, thank you so much for commenting! ^_^ I’m glad you found those dialogue excerpts intriguing because the two stories they came from are actually part of a Kitty/Darkholme series I’m writing (or rather, trying to write =P). Here are the (tentative) summaries of the first three fics, if you’re curious:

Change of Engagement - Headmistress Kitty Pryde needs an assistant to help her teach the fencing team. Unfortunately, the only person available with the right skills is her deceased best friend's doppelganger, and he has a worrisome habit of decapitating people.

Enveloppement - Sequel to Change of Engagement. Kurt Darkholme is just getting settled into his new life at the Jean Grey School when he discovers one of Earth-616’s most annoying quirks: when an X-man dies here, he never stays dead.

Redoublement -Sequel to Enveloppement. Restless and guilt-ridden, Kurt Darkholme returns to his own world in a suicidal attempt to save it. Unwilling to lose another Nightcrawler - even if it is the irritating one - the X-men follow, but are

Wow, I hope you'll continue with those Kitty/Darkholme fics!!! I like the theme, and don't find it that far-fetched that Kitty (out of everyone) might eventually learn to accept Darkholme. She has been close to Logan for years, and we all know he can be a homicidal jerk at times. The fact that Kurt D wasn't close to her counterpart in his own world lends to the idea that he might develop an opinion of her based on who she is in 616, rather than the woman he just knew in passing there. (This is Sundowhn, btw -- deeabla is my live journal handle.)

Like Marg, I'd love to read about Darkholme and Wagner meeting, as well.

As far as the difference in Darkholme meeting Megs and in meeting Kitty -- she is Meggan. Remember Kurt W's complete schoolboy reaction to the woman that continued for what, two years

Yay! I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks Kitty/Darkholme is a viable pairing. ^_^ And I like the point you made about Kitty being close friends with Logan despite his homicidal tendencies. I'll have to add that to my list of "Reasons I Think Kitty is One of the Few People that Darkholme Could Ever Have a Meaningful Romantic Relationship With on Earth-616," which so far includes
