Read it and liked it. I would be a bit upset if anyone bashed her for "staying home" when Ed told her to leave. If anything her staying in the country would motivate Edward more to save their country, right? I mean I hate having her pictured as the girl that would "run away". She stayed there so Ed and Al would have a home to come back to, too, when they saved the day.

:{ Winry is one of my favorite characters. She's more than just a token female character too--she stands so strong on her own. And I have a small crush on her. I hope.. something happens where she comes out okay. Or at least.. if Edward does die.. her and him get to be with each other in the afterlife.

Oh I'm tempted. I mean to me it seems like Winry is hated over-all because she's a cockblock for gay incest and pedophilia *cough hack cough*. I mean seriously..

Not that I don't like well written yaoi or male/male pairings at all. Just.. er. Yeah. XD;

Oh dont get me wrong, I love Yaoi as the next fan girl but I only do it when its official or hinted. FMA does not have Yaoi no matter how much they wish it. I also dont bash ANY female character because its just stupid and pointless! >_>

Nice insight to Winry's final moments--while I questioned Winry remaining at home, I would also think that's the very reason she didn't escape to another country; she wanted to give the brothers a reason to fight and stay alive.

I just left a HUGE rant in my own journal about chapter 104. I'm really so unhappy with the direction the manga is taking right now. I, too, am hoping that Arakawa will not leave everything this way.

Same here, I always ranted about the way people view Winry and their reason to hate her. When there is none =/ So what if she choose to stay. I bet you if Winryw as a guy, bet you the fan girl would be JUST as happy if he did >_> Makes it seem so much more dramatic for them. Urgh.

And to think I was naive enough to believe that the manga would turn out differently from the first anime. It's almost worse this time around, simply because there was canonical Ed/Winry action.

I still have this vague idea that Winry's soul will somehow be restored to her body, but it's the suspense that just kills me.

I think you did a great job, considering 104 just came out and there really wasn't much to write on. I noticed a few mistakes, purely technical and mostly inconsistent tenses, but you captured the spirit of it.

hahhaa I think its safe to say that we all are having the same dilema :3 I know, I didn't have much content to work with but I figure hey, you can make up shit! :D Fanfiction is a wonderful thing...

Yeah...I have grammar issues. Can't freaking tell Past tense from Present tense. ALWAYS screw with me everytime I'm writing. >_>
