I'm sure I'll have more to say later on...but right now:
I was looking for stuff going on today in the Sarasota area, and the local Safe Place and Rape Crisis Center, which specializes in "providing services to victims of domestic and sexual violence," is having a hoedown. I think they could've gone with a different word.
