Ginger is home safe and sound.  She was very happy to see the other horses, although not pleased that she wasn't in the same field as them.  My hay man bailed on me for a delivery for the day so~ that means I can't get hay until Wed :\  (I feed my other horses round bales, but Ginger is in a separate pasture. I'm glad to hear that Ginger is safe.

The whole unemployment thing sucks though. I've been holding on to a job I hate or 8 years because I see no way of getting another one. And I don't even have a contract anymore. Well, as long as they keep paying me... I'll keep going to work and try not to kill anybody.

Understatement of the decade! so, apparently, a new law came out saying that health care employees who are still on short term contracts may be kept in the same situation until 2013. Even though I haven't signed anything and I have been going on short term contracts since 2003 (which is illegal, btw). But that's what you get when you work for the govermnment. They make up laws just out of the blue and call it "special circumstances." I'd love to tell them where they can shove their laws but getting a salary every month is a bit more important right now.
