... is apparently karate. :P

Dad and I saw the trailer for the new Karate Kid movie when we went to see How To Train Your Dragon yesterday (which was OMG AWESOME!!!!! - How To Train Your Dragon NOT the KK trailer)

Everyone knows Kung Fu is Karate. It's not as though they're totally different or anything. :P

BTW, Warriors of Virtue isn't as bad as I thought it was going to be (rented it for crack because it was deemed so bad it's good, wound up not too bad! now there's Kung Fu for you)

I saw it many, many, many, many moons ago so I don't really remember it.

Dougie is the kangaroo that doesn't talk.

Dougie is the best one: Yee, the metal guy.

Mikey Chi the fire guy is pretty annoying.
Leo Yun the water guy is so similar to your boy that I think TMNT should have sued for plagiarism.
Raph Lan the wood guy is just grouchy for no apparent reason.
My favourite (talking) one was actually Tsun, the girl one who was earth. Although she was kind of a pathetic fighter.

Kimodo is Hi-larious. TV Tropes said he was a huge slice of ham and cheese and they sure got that right!

Yeah, I had a similar moment of "wtf" when my friend Jen and I saw the trailer when we went to see HTTYD. Somewhere Pat Morita is spinning in his grave.

The movie does look like it would be entertaining (Jackie Chan usually equals win) which is what my dad and I were saying during the pre-show mini-trailer.

Then the full trailer was played with all the China/Kung-Fu stuff and I was left with just a sputtering "But... but... not the same thing"
