I was scared at first but they pulled it off!

Jason Segel wrote a love letter to the Muppets!

The new movie is great, fantastic... wait, those aren't the right words. It's sensational! Inspirational! Celebrational! MUPPETATIONAL! :D

I'd been scared because Muppet humour is so hard to get right.

Oh good! I'm planning on seeing it with my sister and friend on Saturday. I've been carefully avoiding any reviews from the major critics, because I don't want my impression of the movie tarnished (and spoilers). Though all the advanced word I've heard from others has been pretty positive.

Can't wait!

Saw it yesterday myself and my friend and I screamed out loud at said cameo!

The whole film was brilliant but it was the first time in a long time I was literally squealing in a movie theater *laughs*

Oh yes - there was screaming with us too XD

I laughed so hard I couldn't breath and I had tears in my eyes XD

We weren't the only ones either - in the moment of stunned silence before my own laughter kicked in I heard a few others folks gasping and shrieking in the back ;)

When I originally heard they were making a new Muppet movie I had a similar scared reaction to the one I had for TMNT and Turtles Forever (especially TF because the crossover premise sounded like a nasty publicity stunt on Fox's part. And at that point Fox hadn't exactly been treating the boys well)

If anything I was MORE scared because as much as I love Turtles - I love the Muppets even more.

But I can happily say my fears were just as unfounded as they were with TMNT and Turtles Forever! :D
