Color Prologue
Sasashima Sakura stretched yawning as she walked into 2A; the first and last days of school always seemed the longest. She was so glad her Niichan Yu was no longer here, but being expected to live up to his legacy despite a public different name was going to be difficult. He had been school president and in a lot of sports clubs as other clubs. She was content to join Arts and Literature eventually as well as hang out with Niichan’s best friends Ryo-chan and Uchi-hime as well as their other friends from work. Not that she paid much attention Uchi Hiroki was girlier then she was but that wasn’t hard. She’d grown up surrounded by guys so she never learned how to be very girly and she HATED wearing the girl’s uniform. She had been here a year and despite liking Ayama Academy of the Arts she did not like the dress code.
She would love to get away with wearing Niichan’s uniform but that went over well when she tried it in junior high. She had been suspended for a week and grounded; Niichan had been so embarrassed. Being grounded hadn’t been so bad but being forced to attend class and not get graded for assignments was horrible, her grades had slipped and she had been furious. Her score on the entrance exam two years ago had been the second highest. She had been looking forward to meeting this Shigeaki Kato; they had been from the same school yet had never met until last year.
Last year when class started and roll was called she had glanced up as the name Kato Shigeaki was called. She had seen a serious looking guy with glasses who reminded her of Niichan when he was studying. With his friends he could be serious, comical or bossy but he was always Niichan. With entrance grade like that he had become e a good study partner…she and she had quickly made friends with him. She hated being class representative but there was nothing she could do about it therefore she was class rep again.
Yu-niichan still expected her to do well as a writer but refused to admit publicly he even had a sister. Neither of them used their actually family name in public so no one who didn’t know them who know they were related. She usually hung out with Niichan’s friends because she wasn’t that outgoing. It was easier to get to know people she was always around like Ryo and Uchi. Though Ryo treated her like an annoying shadow but she usually ignored it, it was Ryo’s way and thank god he already graduated last year, what a relief.
