After snarking a bit about OPB members who practice sound-bytes at various pledge drive reward functions (in the hopes that they'll be read on air) during the drive up to Star Trek on Sunday, well, they read my comment on air.

Yesterday they were going on and on about how they needed $100k or so and it’d be great to have one person write that check, but they really want more members. So I said I’d write it if I could and gave ‘em $25 on top of the regular membership as an example to others.

I had no idea they were doing a pledge drive. Wonder what that says about my media habits? Anyhoo, thanks for the heads up, I'll send 'em a few more bucks.
