Well with short hair you have some advantages, and with long hair you have some advantages.

Short hair gets it out of your damn eyes and face, and isn't as annoying. (maybe that's just my own experiences with long hair though)

Long hair usually gets you more ladies and you're usually consider 'hotter' and 'cooler' by the general public.
