Oooh, I'm working on a Kushiel fic now! How timely!

TBH, I'm only just getting into fanfic after over a decade away. A lot has changed in the land of fic since then! I've very recently signed up for AO3. I've been lurking on fanfic comms, but I might need some hand-holding. I've never done a fic exchange, and I have no idea how to upload anonymously, though I'd probably figure things out with some fiddling.

AO3 has a nice set up--if the fest is anonymous, then all the fic uploaded to it will be automatically anonymous until reveals. And on LJ I believe usually mods post the fic, and edit the fic afterward to add in author names.

welcome back! yes, if we were to go with AO3, it would be anonymous until the reveal. LJ fic exchanges can work a bunch of different ways. sometimes everyone just posts their fics all at once and the mods compile a masterlist. sometimes the fics are posted one each day (my least favorite kind, personally)

the best part about a single fandom exchange is that you would be guaranteed to get and write a Kushiel fic!

welcome! yes. AO3 would probably be a bit easier for everyone in terms of organization. even if we decided to do an exchange on LJ we would still set up a collection on AO3.

I'm in. Luckily, I too am working on a fic, though I'm still stuck with it... the perils of writing, I suppose. I'd prefer AO3, but LJ is fine with me as well.
