It had been a week since then, and, eventhough Takaki had just met them, he could tell there was something chaning between them.
Yabu laughed. "Don't worry Yuyan, Daiki just gets angry at me like this sometimes, its nothing to worry about. He'll be over it soon."
Takaki nodded. "Are you sure? He seems...really angry."
"Yeah, it happens sometimes. Dai-chan can has anger problems sometimes." Yabu laughed again. "But, only at me for some reason. I've never seen him angry at anyone else before."
"Um...can I ask something?" Yabu nodded. "Well...its just, Dai-chan said you always turned guys down...so why Yamada?"
"Well...honestly...you might think this is stupid, but I like Daiki...more than a friend, and I think...that the reason I got out with all those girls, is to try to push by feelings for him away."
"You like Dai-chan...for how long?"
"Hmm...for a while now. But, Daiki would never go for a guy..."
"How do you know?"
"He has only gone out with girls..."
"I see...um, i'll be right back. I just rememberd I need Dai-chans notes from class."
"Ok...don't tell Daiki what I just told you!"
Takaki laughed. "Don't worry, I won't."
Takaki walked down the hall, where Daiki's room was, knocking on the door. After hearing Daiki say to come in, he open the door going in. "Can I borrow your notes from class?"
"I knew you were asleep!"
"I can't help it~!" Takaki pouted. "The teacher is so boring."
Daiki laughed. "Sure~ Come in, i'll get them for you."
Takaki nodded, shutting the door, then going to Daiki's bed, sitting on it. "Thanks Dai-chan~ I'm so happy I met such a good friend like you."
Daiki rolled his eyes. "You mean, a friend that takes good notes?"
"Well, that to...but I can tell your a good friend."
"How so?"
"Well, you've stuck with Yabu all this time, eventhough you have feelings for him...I know I haven't known you for long yet...but I just have a feeling, that your a really good friend."
Daiki smile lightly. "Thanks Yuya."
"Ne, have you gone out with anyone, I mean...I know your feelings for Yabu have been there for a while..."
"Of course I have...I mean, only a few...but...well, they all ended up, just wanting to get close to Kota."
"Eh? Thats...horrible. Your to nice of a person to have that done to..."
"Yeah..."
Takaki stood up, ruffling Daiki's hair. "Your to cute to."
Daiki puffed out his cheeks. "Don't call me cute."
Takaki laughed. "Now your even more cute."
"Baka~! Don't call me cute!"
"Hey Dai-chan...you know, we should go out."
"Eh?" Daiki looked up, with wide eyes.
"Me and you...we should go out."
"But...what?"
Takaki laughed lightly. "Your cute when your confused to." He leaned down, kissing Daiki's forhead. "See you later Dai-chan~!"
Daiki touched his forehead, still wide eyed. He could feel his heart beating quickly.
The next few days, were awkward, for Daiki. Takaki didn't seem bothered, he acted normal, but Daiki felt embarrased in front of Takaki. He couldn't figure out why his heart would start to beat faster when he was around him now.
Takaki was in his room now, copying Daiki's notes from class. Daiki was sitting on his bed, pretending to read a book, when he was really staring at Takaki. "Yuya..."
Takaki looked up. "Yeah?"
"Um..." Daiki chewed on his bottom lip. "The other day...where you...serious?"
Takaki smiled lightly. "Of course I was."
"But...why?"
Takaki sighed, getting up to sit on the bed beside Daiki. "I hate seeing you sad...eventhough your smiling in front of Yabu...I can see the sadness, and hurt in your eyes...and I just...want to be the one to heal your heart..."
Daiki was looking down at his book, face red. "Ok..."
"Eh?"
"I said ok...thats my answer."
Takaki smiled. He reached over, brushing some hair out of the smallers face. He leaned foward, kissing Daiki's chubby cheek. "I hope I can help you get past him..."
