Title : Feelings of the Past (Chpt. 3/?)
Pairing : Chiitaro, mentions of others
Rating : PG-13
It was just a few days later, and Yuri hadn't seen Ryutaro in those days. It was after work, and he was running towards Erina's school to pick her up, as he was about thirty minutes late. When he arrived, he saw her playing on the swings with another girl, Mizuki. It made him a little nervous, thinking Ryutaro might be around, but instead he found a lady.
She turned towards Yuri, and smiled. "Hello Chinen-kun!"
"H-Hello."
"I'm guessing you don't remember me. I think we met at one of Ryutaro's birthday parties. I'm Mizuki's mom, Ayumi."
"Ah, i'm sorry, I don't remember."
"Its okay, really. It was a long time ago. Anyways, Mizuki refused to leave until Erina was picked up, which is why they are off playing right now."
"Oh, well, thank you for watching her."
"I'm guessing...you've met Ryutaro while picking her up last week?"
Yuri looked towards his daughter, as he slowly nodded. "Yes."
"Sorry about that...i'm sure it was uncomfortable for you...he once talked to me about what happened. I'm sure you still hate him, but you should know, that in the past five years, he has grown up alot. He is in college now, and is doing good with his life."
Yuri just nodded. He really didn't know what he should be saying, he didn't know why she was telling him this.
"Erina...Ryutaro is her father, right?"
There was that feeling again, his chest tightening, a lump in his throat, as he panickly tried to think of what to say. "Um..."
"She looks like him, she has his eyes."
Yuri looked down, nodding. "I know. I see him everytime I look at her." He sighed, looking back at his daughter. "I'm sorry, but we really have to leave now. Thank you again for watching her until I could get here." He quickly walked towards his daughter, and walked to their house.
Eventhough he completely stressed out about everything that was going on, he forced himself to smile in front of Erina. "Erina, go play for a while, and i'll get dinner ready, okay?"
"Okay mommy!" She turned around, running towards her room.
Yuri went into the kitchen, getting some ingredients to make dinner. He was tired that night, so he was just making a simple ramen. It took about 15 minutes, when Erina came running to the kitchen, and sat at the table. "Here you go~" Yuri sat a bowl in front of her, and she quickly started eating. Yuri sat on the other side with a bowl for himself. He found himself starting at Erina, he could see so much of Ryutaro in her, it hurt him a little.
"Mommy! I'm done." Yuri snapped out of his thoughts, hearing her call him, and noticed his own dinner had gone cold.
"Okay, go take a bath now." Erina nodded, and ran off to the bathroom. Yuri stood up, getting rid of his food, and cleaning the dishes. Lately, he had been missing alot of meals, his thoughts are just everywhere right now, and didn't feel like eating. He also hadn't been sleeping at night, he was up, tossing and turning, waking up crying.
The next day, Yuri had dropped Erina off at school, and was now walking to the JE building for dance practice, when someone grabbed his arm. His eyes widened when he saw who it was. "W-What do you want?"
"I want to see my daughter."
"N-No, let me go Morimoto!" He pulled his arm, but Ryutaro was alot stronger than him.
"No, not until you talk to me properly about this. I think its only fair to her, and to me! You can't keep me from her!"
"No, you left me, and her, five years ago."
"I was only sixteen then, I was stupid, and got into trouble. Please, can't we just talk about it?"
"I don't want to. You hurt me, and gave up on me."
"You told me to leave you alone, so I did what you wanted."
"I was angry with you!" The tears that he was trying hard to hold in, started to fall. "I felt like I was something you just threw away...like you never really cared for me, it was something so small to you, but to me, it felt like you had thrown me away, like a toy you had got tired of playing with...I loved you so much, and you broke my heart...I don't want Erina to get hurt...so please, just let me go." He quickly wiped the tears from his eyes with his free hand, as Ryutaro let go of his other hand.
"Chinen...its been five years now. I'm not a teenager now, i've grown up, and I know what I did was wrong back then, and i'm really, very sorry for it...and i'm sorry, but i'm not giving up on this, I want to spend time with my daugther." He then turned around, walking away from Yuri.
Yuri hurried to the JE building, quickly going to the restroom, wiping his face to make it to no one could tell that he was crying before. He knew they were all worried about him right now, and didn't want them to worry more.
It was about thirty minutes into practice, and Yuri had started to feel light headed, his stomach hurting. He kept making mistakes, and stumbling, knocking into the other members. He just waved them off, telling them he was fine, and continued. Then he felt like everything around him was spinning, and he stumbled again, falling into someone's arms, as things went black.
