So, I haven't actually updated in ages due to a mixture of busyness and laziness, and in fact this was a post I was going to make a few days ago, but I didn't, and now my tabs are out of control and so I will! Have a lot of comments etc I need to respond to, and perhaps a RL update coming later, but for now lots of links and unpopular opinions! :D

It is so hard for me to settle my thoughts on Evan, like I still want all the kink meme WIPs with him that I love to finish, but I don't know if I want new fic with him getting Johnny. It is all very conflicted, I keep changing my mind!

It was rude and ignorant, but the outtakes, omg the outtakes! :DDDD

Yeah, I'd like all the Johnny/Evan WIPs to be finished as well but I'd be on the fence with a new fic with them ending up happy together.

I enjoy your opinions! I think they are pretty ace ones. I also really want all the fic in the world about Meryl -- I think alexthegreat has written two Tanith/Charlie/Meryl, and I wrote a Meryl + Mirai ficlet once that is pretty bad. Oh! And athenejen wrote a Meryl/Ryan Bradley, I think. BUT MORE, I always want more!

I am glad! :D I have read all of these, and they are awesome! But I definitely want more! I just love that Meryl is both a geek and in a sorority and really smart and a party girl and from all the skaters seems like a person I would actually want to be friends with in RL! I don't know, she comes across really fun and sweet and I want more Meryl/Tanith/Charlie, because I think that having your partner, one of your closes people get with one of your biggest competitors, a person you have looked up to for years can be really complicated and it leaves us such a fascinating dynamic to explore!

I agree, that Johnny photoshoot is SO awkward and terrible. But in the way that I find it kind of endearing. Even Johnny Weir has off days! It's so lulzy and ridiculous. (Also, I usually like when he has bangs, but what is happening with his hair in those pictures? I'm having flashbacks to that terrible monk bowlcut he had a few years ago!)

Oh, it is definitely awesome, as well as terrible! And some of the jumping ones are pretty legitimately fantastic, but yeah I have learned to erase the hair from my mind, sort of crop it from my mental image of him! It is a strategy that is working pretty well for me! :)))

I loved the entire WC episode very much. The banter between Sara and Neal was fantastic (on top of the wonderful banter between Neal and Peter which is awesome anyway). It all just made me very happy. :D

Me too! (I didn't know her name is spelled Sara! Need to change that...) The Peter and Neal banter was brilliant as always, but I am impressed with how easily she added to their dynamic, she fits with both of them really well!

re: evan, i'm still having a hard time reading fic with him. yesterday, i was loading my twitter list for celebrities and his was the topmost tweet--i'd forgotten to remove him there when i unfollowed him. there was this... surge of irritation, which proved that i'm still not over what he did. i think it'd depend on who the author is, if i make the exception of reading fic with evan again. or maybe i just need more time.

I will! I can't believe one doesn't exist. /o\ I love them both so very much as well, and those nostalgia filled tweets made me both happy and sad. Haha, ridiculously overinvested, or what?

I unfollowed him immediately after his fail, but was forced to follow him again, because I want to keep up with what he is up to/any future fail. It is mostly for mocking purposes. I do see what you mean, like I want all the WIPs to get finished, but not sure if I want new fic. Which sucks, because the fanon dynamic he has with Johnny is a great weakness of mine and as much as I love Stephane, no one else can really fill Evan's shoes in a lot of fic scenarios that I find interesting.

Johnny is clearly awesome with good direction and... not without it!
