I'm sad. Why do I have no "expand" button in SnarkyBride??? :(

It's a button that I just discovered exists in WeddingPlans! I have always used it in sf_drama (which I only read very occasionally because they seem so bitter in there...but that's another story!).

Anyways, you know how the threads get compacted, and if you want to read one, you have to open it in a different tab? Some communities have the "expand" button, where you can expand a thread WITHOUT it taking you to a whole new window, it just expands it open right there on the comment page, leaving the other comments intact...so you don't have to either open it in a new tab, or click the thread, but then use the "back" button to go back to the rest of the comments...am I making any sense? I never had access to it in WP, but I noticed a couple of weeks ago that it IS in WP now, yay!!! And now I want it in SnarkyBride too!

I do, but it might be because I have a paid account. Maybe ask Lizzie how it was added to WP then get Becki to add it to SB?

Because you don't have a paid account? Sometimes communities can get paid accounts so they always have an expand option (I know that's why sf_drama almost always has one - the members randomly pay for it).

I used to have it (via a greasemonkey script) but it's not in SB any more, only in some of my other communities...hmm weird
