why are the coast guard physicals at 5:45 am? and in MIAMI?! pray i find it in one try, and that theres nothing physically wrong with me

Yeah, I pray you find it, espicially at 5am when it'still dark out, as if it isn't confusing enough down there.

it that early in the morning cause it takes about a whole day to do it. It's such a pain. Wait till you have to do it all over again when you're at boot camp.

there was a thing on discovery HD about being a coast gaurd and rescue swimmer.
my best friends brother in law is a rescue swimmer and he just got stationed in alaska

yeah, i thought about being a rescue swimmer, i love swimming but i get airsick so i dont see that working.

P.S. If you do join, you will be up every day by 5:45AM during boot camp.

Wait...is the coast guard part of the armed forces (army, marine, navy, air force, etc.) or something entirely different?

no not technically, its homeland security, so theres no combat involved
