Special K for breakfast

As I sit here, bowl of cereal between my typing arms, having pondered the fact that I probably fell asleep before 8 PM and awoke after 2 AM and that my paid working day will go until 6 PM, all I can do, besides write run on sentences is say, "thanks God," and, "that's life."

Why, I wonder, am I so quick to thank the lord, even if it is with a hint of sardonic attitude (please forgive), for decisions I by way of simply playing along, have made?
