“G’morning,” Jiyong said with a groggy voice to his cousin and fiancee who were already at the kitchen for breakfast. The couple replied his greetings and while Jiyong takes his seat across Yoochun, Jaejoong stood up to give the younger man some coffee.
“Did you sleep well?”
Jiyong nodded at Jaejoong’s question. He sleepily rubbed his eyes and yawn, and Jaejoong wanted so bad to pinch him because of his cuteness. He didn’t understand how someone as cocky as Jiyong could be very cute and child-like sometimes. Jiyong thanked Jaejoong for the coffee and drank it slowly. “Hyungdeul..” he made Yoochun and Jaejoong looked at him. “I know you both were bestfriends before you dated, and I know Hyunjoong Hyung lived at the house at the end of this street, and I know you are close with him even though I never get too close to him. But...” he hesitate for a while, and this made Yoochun put down his fork to listened to Jiyong more.
“But?” Yoochun raised his eyebrows.
“But I never knew Seunghyunssi.”
“Ha!” Jaejoong spatted out and slapped the edge of the table. He turned to Yoochun and said, “I told you he’s interested.”
“What?”
“No he’s not, Jae, Jiyong does not like Seunghyun. They just met.”
“What are you guys talk-“
“But he asked about him early in the morning, Chunnie. He must like him.”
“Hey, guys..”
“No, he asked because he never met Seunghyun before, but we seems so close with Seunghyun.”
“But, honey, isn’t it good if-“
“Hyungdeul!!!” Jiyong finally caught their attention and made them stop talking. He waved his hand in front of his two hyungs. “You know I’m still here, right?”
For a while none of them answered him, untill Yoochun snorted and laughed a little. “I can give you his number if you wan-“
“Hyuuuu~ng!!!”
Just then, a loud techno song was heard from the guest room. Jiyong knew it was his phone ringing, so he dashed to the room, ignoring the two person still laughing at him. He hated being the youngest. He was the youngest in his family, he was the youngest from his mother big family, and he was also the youngest from his father’s side of family. He was always made fun of. He knows that his cousins love him, but they always treated him like a child, even until now.
Jiyong checked his caller ID and his heart thumped really hard when it was only showing number. He never had a unknown caller before. All his costumers were given another number, which he didn’t bring now because he always try to be professional and separate his work with family and personal matters. The only person he gave this number to was..
“Yoboseyo?” Jiyong decided to answer it first to find out.
“Yoboseyo. Is this.. Dragonssi?” the voice sound muffled and Jiyong was sure the other man covered his mouth with something. He cursed himself for not having that idea but he was excited anyway. He let out a little yelp and regret it when he realise he’s like a schoolgirl having a call from her crush. Jiyong tried to compose himself and with a more stable voice he answered, “Yes. Pimp?”
“It’s The Official Pimp, if you remember. Don’t just call me Pimp, you disrespect my nickname.”
The answer made Jiyong laugh. This guy was as silly as he was in the letters. They often exchange romantic poems and lyrics and stuff, but in the end of every letter, his penpal would add some jokes or silly word that made him laugh.
“Okay, I’m sorry, The Official Pimp,” He emphazised at the last three words to make the other man happy. “Can I just call you TOP? It’s more convinient and time saving.”
“Yes, of course you can.”
“Okay. You sound different from the last time, you know, at the radio,” Jiyong didn’t know why said asked that, and he slapped his own forehead after asking this. He was so nervous that he didn’t know what to say.
“Oh! Yes, I had.. I was having a cough that time,” he heard the other answered. And without even thinking, Jiyong said “You sound a lot better back then,” and regret it again because TOP did not answer this. He just made some kind of voice expression and Jiyong was afraid he had made a bad impression with his lame jokes.
“I’m sorry, did I offend you? I’m not really good at joking, really. I said a lot without thinking first, so I.. uh.. why are you laughing?”
“Because you are so funny. And you’re not even joking.”
There. The warm feeling he felt the other night came creeping his neck again. He was sure his face was red as a tomato now, and he thank God Seunghyun wasn’t here to see it this time.
Wait a minute. What does Seunghyun gotta do with this? Why did he suddenly popped into his mind? Jiyong shook his head and tried to concentrate to this guy at the phone again. He was talking about Sunday, and when the other brought up the topic, Jiyong suddenly remembered something while thinking about Seunghyun. He had a meeting with Seunghyun at Sunday. Maybe he just should meet TOP in later hour, maybe for dinner. “Ah! Actually I was waiting for your call to talk about Sunday!”
Jiyong didn’t know what he had to feel when the other man said with a sad voice, “I’m sorry, Dragon, but.. I think.. I think we have to reschedule.”
Jiyong felt a pang in his heart when he heard this. He almost believe he was in love with this TOP, and finally he was going to meet the one person that actually made him feel something. But it was like their fate did not cross each other, it’s like they were not meant to be
“Dragonssi?”
TOP’s voice knocked him out of thoughts. With a very hevy heart, he tried to sound not sad. “Ah, yes, TOPssi. Actually.. I was about to tell you the same thing. I think.. we need to reschedule. Something came up and it’s really really important-not that you’re not important-but I hope you understand. It’s a family matter.”
“Yes, yes of course I understand.,” of course he understand, Jiyong thinks. He was the one who asked for rescheduling their meeting in the first place. “That’s okay. I don’t know when actually I can be free, it’s going to be busy for me this week, but.. I’ll make sure we keep contact.”
“Ah, yes. I had a very full schedule too this week. So umm... well, I.. ,” Jiyong was not a baby, he never cried because of small matters his whole life, but he didn’t know why he felt like tears was just going to burst out of him right now if he keep talking to the other man. “I gotta go, TOPssi.”
“Uh,, can I call you again soon?”
“Why don’t we just write to each other TOPssi?” Jiyong decided he liked writing to this guy better. He can freely show his emotion without fear that the othere man would see or hear him. “ I find it more.. fun. And you haven’t even sent another picture of yours!” Jiyong tried to bring back the fun conversation they had earlier.
“What?” TOP sound offended now, and Jiyong wanted to laugh hearing this. The other guy protested about finding him between a hundred other kids and Jiyong deffended himself by saying that at least TOP will be able to se his real face when he get to guess which one is The Dragon. He was about to shot another remark of TOP’s “I’m not a psychic” when he heard Yoochun calling him to get ready to pick up Jiyong’s parents and sister from the airport. Jiyong’s parent lived with his sister, Dami and her husband in Paris. Dami’s husband was a chief editor of a very famous fashion magazine based in Paris, France. Their parents wanted to stay in Seoul at first, worried about their youngest son who wasn’t even 18 when Dami got married and wanted her parents to come with her to Paris, but Dami insisted that his little brother was a grown up man and they really had to trust him that he can survive on his own. Jiyong was not so sure himself at that time, he was close to his mother and he couldn’t imagine living far from his mother. He refused to talk to Dami for almost a year when their parents finally agree to go with Dami to France, but when he graduated and got his first job, he enjoyed his independent life. Looking back to the days, if Dami hadn’t force their parents to leave and let Jiyong live on his own, he would not be as successful as he is now. He maybe would still be living in his parents house and maybe not working yet, since he can get all he wanted just by asking it to his mother or father. So now he really owed Dami his life, and he was excited that his sister and his parents are coming soon. He missed them so much.
He answered Yoochun to hold on a minute before returning to his caller to end the call. “I really gotta go, TOPssi. It was nice talking to you.”
“But am I allowed to call-“
“Nope!!” Jiyong cutted TOP’s word. “And no text either! Just letters, except when we already decided when we’re gonna meet. Okay? Bye~”
Jiyong didn’t even wait for him to say his goodbye before hunging up and prepare himself to take a bath while grinning like an idiot. He couldn’t believe just a voice and writings can make him head over heel to someone.

“What?? No~!!!! I don’t want to be in an arrange marriage!!!!”
Jiyong didn’t believe what he just heard. He was so happy a second ago, but his mother just had to ruined it. He was holding Jinhee, his 5 month old niece in his arms, and he was thankful that this little lady did not woke up hearing him yelling so loud inside the car. His mother gave him an annoyed eye roll before turning her gaze to the front again. “Yes you do, Jiyong. You are going to clear your schedule next Sunday, and we are going to have a dinner with her family.”
“Umma~!! You can’t just decide that on your own! What if I had an appointment? Besides, it’s a day after Yoochun Hyung’s wedding!”
“Yoochun wouldn’t mind, would you dear?” Yoochun nodded at her aunt’s question, saving his smile for himself. Poor Jiyongie, he thought. “See, honey. It’s Yoochun and Jaejoong marriage, not yours. And I just told you to clear your schedule, didn’t I?”
Jiyong turned to his sister for help. He knew their parents will listen to her. The eldest of the family smiled at Jiyong and this comfort him a little. “Ji, it’s just a dinner. You won’t marry her that instance.”
“Noona!” Jiyong cannot believe this. Even his sister! Why does everybody always try to control his life??
