I shouldn't still be surprised by the foolishness of business people, but I'm nevertheless amazed that history is repeating itself so quickly. Should TV and movie execs "defend" their industry as capably as music execs did theirs, then "Dr. Horrible" really could turn out to be the new model for how shows and flicks get made. I guess what's stunning isn't simply the incompetence of these execs, but their oblivious, bullheaded, arrogant belief they know best, despite all evidence to the contrary.
