Please post or e-mail info on buying the book when you have it.wwolfeMay 6 2010, 15:15:24 UTC
I'm very much looking forward to buying a copy.
Granted she only knows how to do one thing, I liked Mila's designs. I had enjoyed Seth Aaron's work over the run of the show, but wasn't wild about his fashion show collection. It all seemed like it came from Michael Jackson's wardrobe closet. (That's a little harsh, but more or less reflects my reaction.) Still, I was happy he won, because he does have a recognizable voice, for lack of a better term, and because I like the fact that he's older, with a wife and kids. The latter has nothing to do with his work, but I don't care. As far as Emilio goes, that pink swim suit is one of the true disasters in the past two seasons. Plus, I thought he and Tim were actually going to come to blows once or twice - and it takes a special person to piss off Tim Gunn. Emilio's ego grew like the Gulf Coast oil slick. If there'd been or two more episodes, it might have swallowed the show's entire ecosystem.
Oh, trust me, you won't be able to AVOID seeing where the book is selling if you come near my lj or fb at all. :)
I'm totally with you on Emilio. He did some interesting stuff, but when you say your strategy boils down to ignoring everything Tim says, well, you've lost me.
I am sorry that the one girl dropped out, though, especially when the judges said such nice things about her design and the fabric she'd created. I wonder if she kicked herself when that episode aired.
I don't know. She seems really committed and they haven't made any obvious mistakes. Not saying she's a rocket scientist, but she's running a solid race.
She just strikes me as petty and vapid. Going by the montage of this season at the start of tonight's episode, it sounds like she and her partner made some really big mistakes and are only in it by luck. Plus, calling your cab driver a dumbass makes you an asshole.
However, I will say that, at the end, she came out on top in that squabble with Brandy. Bitter much? Way to keep it classy.
Yeah, that montage didn't help her at all. But I was really shocked by how bitter the lesbians still were. It looked like Caite was ready to let bygones be bygones, and they were just vicious to her. Which is supposed to prove what, exactly? Seriously. It made them look every bit the bitches the other players said they were, and then some. Get a grip, ladies. It's a TV show.
It's a guide for hiring, training, and retaining actors in the Halloween haunted house industry.* We did a seminar last year at the National Haunters Convention about acting last year and everyone was asking for a book, so I wrote one for this year.

Really? Granted, I haven't been watching the show as religiously as I used to, but what I've seen has only reinforced my opinion of her.
