Some of my Geocities fic archive has been cached on "Reocities." Unfortunately it looks like a lot of the Christmas archive was lost, although I think a good deal of it is still here on lj. Anyway, if you're interested, here's the address ( Read more... )

Have you thought about putting them up on Archive of Our Own (http://archiveofourown.org/)? It's fan-run, organized as a non-profit corporation, and intended to be in it for the long haul (avoiding the syndrome where an archive founder gets tired of running it and takes everything down). Multi-fandom, accepts everything. If you want an invitation, let me know.

Yes, I think I would like an invite. I don't know when I'll have the time to reconstruct an archive, but it would be nice to have the option. Thanks!

I'm not sure where my old printed versions of all my stories are, and it's been bothering me lately that they all might have disappeared into the mists of history. Now, thanks to this link, I can print everything and keep it all in a binder or something. That's nice to know.

Unfortunately, the one story that didn't transfer is my favorite one of yours, "The Man Who Owned Los Angeles." If you come across it, though, could you send it my way?

Also, Pouncer has sent me an invitation to the archive she mentioned above, and I think I'm going to set up a parallel archive there. Did you want me to put your stories in with mine, or do you want me to send an invite to you if/when I become eligible for them?

And if you can, I think you should go back to your wonderful bookbinder for a volume of your own...

I would love for you to put my stories with yours. Thanks for asking.

I might have "The Man Who Owned Los Angeles" in a acrdboard box in my storage compartment outside my apartment building. I'll try to remember to look. If I find it, I'll send it to you.

I'll look in my old computer, too. If I find it first, I'll email it to you.
