#2) A Barnes and Nobel that's local to you should have a "Local History" section. The stores near our house always have fantastic ones, and I've seen stores in Colorado and Texas have the same.
#3) My sister likes "Luna" bars, especially the "'s'mores" flavor.
Thanks for the info on the energy bars. The reason I wanted to bring some is because Grim is not only a picky eater, he's gotten very nervous about getting sick from the food. And he's got the metabolism of a hummingbird, so I want him to get some protein and a few calories into his system if the only thing available is one of the things he doesn't eat

#1 Etsy? Otherwise, do you have a local bath and body boutique that makes stuff in house? There are a few around here. Some LUSH products might be made in USA. It's hard to find.
#2 Errr, you must have a National Park/Monument/something nearby, right? They would have a good selection.
#3 - Honey Stinger energy/protein bars. I get them at REI. Jeremy and I the protein ones as breakfast and lunch replacements while backpacking. They really do taste great. My favorite is the dark chocolate cherry almond - he likes the peanut butter.
