I posted a couple of pictures of Dad from 1966 on his 86th birthday, but now it's Father's Day, and I thought I'd post a few more images of his life.
Dad at age 6 (1930) posing with his father's hat and walking stick.
His first job. At age 9 he sold Collier's Magazine door-to-door.
Two from August 1943. First flanked by his parents (my Grampa Mike and Gram Amelia); second with Jim Cipriano and his mother. Dad was 19 and about to ship out -- to Louisiana. It would be a year of training before Dad went to Europe to drive a tank for the 8th Armored Division in WWII.
His freshman year at Norwich, fall of 1946. Dad was 22.
Dad and his wife Anne (my mom) at Daytona Beach, summer of 1952.
Dad and Mom with Grampa Mike and Gram Amelia, March of 1954.
Summer of 1972: Here Dad is flanked by his sons Kevin (19) and Kenneth (16).
Dad and Mom in their vineyard in the Napa Valley, 1974.
