I know that you're all expecting me to post something about the Colossal Squid (not to be confused with its smaller cousin the Giant Squid) which was caught last year in Antarctica and is now (as I type) thawing at Te Papa museum in Wellington, New Zealand (check out the live webcam!). WOAH, thanks for those mesonychoteuthis cams! I actually hadn't seen those, and I'm usually up on my squids! Art forgery also very interesting. NZ = so cool! I'm jealous...!

BTW back here we just had a great Harry and the Potters concert, and they made a wizard rock documentary, which was also awesome...!

I know -- the down side to coming here was all the cool things in Boston that I'm missing! Particularly the wizard rock documentary and concert at the Somerville Theater. However, when I get back, I'm road-tripping to NYC to see HatP at the Bryant Park library (from Ghostbusters!).
