It looks beautiful. & I'm glad that you had a lovely time there, I hope you get the chance to return soon.

Off topic, did my letter get there yet? Maybe I am over optimistic as I only sent it Monday...

It is wonderful, although the turists were getting on my nerves. I so hope I can return this christmas (although sometime maybe I should go to a *new* place... nah).
I haven't gotten the letter yet, but if you sent it monday it should arrive this week.

Very nice pix. I believe in San Marco, those are mosaics rather than paintings, if memory serves, but it was a long time ago that I visited....

But all beautiful nontheless, and brought back many memories. Thanks.

I don't really want your "homesickness" to Venice to flare up again, but I will be going for a weekend in Venice in a fortnight.

Lovely pics! I like all the pink and gold. Verona looks absolutely wonderful (with the Gothic architecture). And the canal street sign in Venice are amusing. As for San Marco, it puts a whole new meaning to the phrase, 'walk the line.' Thanks for sharing. :)

Lovely pictures! It's so beautiful there. It's nice looking at the pictures and imagining what it would like to really be there. Well, I've been to Venice once, but I was 7 years old and all I remember are the canals and the pigeons.
