Apocalyptica
Hey, flist!
Last Saturday a friend of mine, Gelton, told me about a heavy metal band called Apocalyptica. I had never heard of them, but he said they rocked and that this band played with cellos. Yeah, you read it right: CELLOS. So, Gelton sent me a link for a vid on you tube with this band performance. I must agree with him, Apocalyptica rocks!

Similarly, I love it when bands try an orchestral touch with some of their songs, especially those bands that are 'heavier'. Metallica's done this a couple of times and it really works.

Some of the "heaviest" music I listen to is not metal or punk, but Beethoven. YYYEEEEAAHHHHHHHH!!!!
