Broken Pieces
Rid my minds' eye of this ever boundless tumult
As the blanket of my heart lies outside an empty vault
My spirit lie awakened, yet is quickly to abscond
Forever, searching for this love, my dearest one, so fond
Weary as my teardrops descend into the creek below
Waiting, as tempest winds surround, doth they sway and they blow
The fallow leaves of yesterday, for soon will turn to snow
It reminds me of my memories on dark nights when love is cold
I do not wish to take my part, this heart's reserved for you
The faltered pieces broken up have mended to form two
Take it with you at once and do with it as you choose
But if you choose to hurt me more, please forget the glue...
