I think the new Big Bad is an actual threat-THREAT. Elias, HR - they got nothing against guys who manipulate government agencies. Plus they are going after The Machine. I've been wondering why it took so long for someone to hone into such a powerful device.
Wait, it just hit me. Maybe Shaw and Root join their side in taking The Machine down. Not good.
Hannibal Ep1x01: Apéritif
I'm already liking this loads better than Bates Motel.
It's a 'Hey! It's That Guy!' moment when I saw the killer. Ergh, he looks so familiar but yet I can't place him.
Hugh Dancy was alright but there's something missing. He's not weird enough, I guess? I like some of me TV tropes.
Mads, Mads, Mads. He's playing subtle-evil perfectly. Charming, too. I can see why Will (Hugh Dancy) may take 5 seasons to catch him.
- The way he was silently disgusted with his sniveling patient. LMAO off that one.
- Getting Will to eat that human lung sausage? Hannibal's sense of humour. Twisted.
- When he held the girl's neck from bleeding out, I think he was taking pleasure from it. Having a life in his hands. I thought he was going to 'accidentally' kill her.
- However, I think the best display of his cunningness, was when he fell asleep (or pretending to?), holding the victim's hand. He didn't have to do it. Yet he took the extra effort to play with Will. I love it.
Next week's trailer: Gillian Anderson's on! I wonder if TPTB knew that Clarice Starling was the inspiration for Dana Scully? I can't wait!
