Whoa, so many extraordinary pieces here! I love the deep, muted tones of that first one and how his blue suit pops against the sepia and black surrounding him! Also digging the sharpness and coloring of 8 and how you layered Will on top of the shooting target. 9 is super clean and precise. I really like the teeny font against the soft blue neg space! The soft, pale coloring in 14 is truly lovely, and I love the crop and text block placement in Quote. Images is one of my fave here. I love having his two pictures abutting one another, and you added that grittiness to the background that really gives the icon depth along with the two-toned coloring! Absolutely stunning purple you achieved in AC5. WOW!
Dang, I'm happy that you liked quite a few of them! Glad you liked the first one because I was careful to make it safe-for-work. Never had that problem in icon-ing, before :D I'm just relieved that someone could read the Quote icon - text is hard. The 2 Images one is one of my favs too!
Thank you so much for your comment! It's very encouraging for me.
I love these! I just started watching Hannibal, and I'm in awe of all the lovely icons out there already for it :D
And oh boy, i hear you about 40 icons in 20 days. I used to sign up for every 20in20 I could (I think I once signed up for 8 or 9 at a time) and I could never finish them without half killing myself in the process. Now I limit myself to just two (and still I sometimes don't have time to finish them :P )
8 or 9 in a month? Oh boy, I would have died. If I were ever to do this again, I'll limit to one at a time. It's a good thing I'm super passionate about this show else I would have given up at 'Horror', haha.
This is crazy, it's like you're me or something. :D
The insp20in20 was a good challenge; just trying to find the right caps to depict the genres, was a task. So I'm glad you pointed out 11 because that was exactly what I was hoping for, with the bars across his face. 8 was pure luck because in my folder, the cap of the shooting target was right after that cap of Will shooting. It was a sign; don't fight it, I say. :D
Dark was the first one I did, thank you for noticing about the mood I was trying to portray with it. I wanted it to set the tone for the rest of the icons because y'know, it's Hannibal. Alas, the muse has its own way of making you do things. The next few icons I did were the pastel-y ones; glad that you like AC4. I'm also happy that you interpret B&W that way. I just love Lecter's story.
And yes, there are so many Hannibal icons out this month, I'm loving it too! Thank you so much for checking mine out!
