a/n- written for weekly drabble challange. prompt word for the week- lipstick. maybe one of these weeks I will get it down to 100 words.
Sighs
The Doctor wanders into the kitchen, an unwashed cup sitting next to the sink catching his eye. It’s Donna’s. He can tell by the lipstick on the rim of the cup. He sighs.
Walking into the bathroom he sees a message written in the same color lipstick as was on the cup. “How many days has that been there?” he thinks.
Walking into Donna’s room he goes into the bathroom and looks around. A wadded up tissue in the garbage catches his eye. No doubt used to dab the excess lipstick from her lips. He notices it is of the same shade he saw on the mirror and the coffee cup.
He comes out of the bathroom and sits on the bed. He sighs again and hangs his head in his hands.
A sound makes him look up.
“What are you doing sitting around in here, Spaceman?” Donna inquires of him
“I have been looking for you.” he whines.
“Well, come on. We’re going to be late.” She disappears from the doorway.
Getting up he heaves another sigh and follows her out the door.
