You had me going there until the raisins. I'm weird about sweet things in otherwise salty dishes. Which is strange, considering how I like to eat all things peanut buttery...

Maybe I'll give this a try.

You don't notice their sweetness in the rest of the dish, just that after being boiled and plumped out, ever once in a while, you get a mild sweet surprise in a bite. you could probably leave them out if you like or just pick them out of your own plate if you think Cyrus or others will like it.
