My personal favorites would be the Buffalo Bills, but my mother is from central PA and I grew up under the influence of her Steelers parties. I never caught a Steelers game, but we saw the Pirates play the Phillies a few times when I was little.
it's just too bad they had to knock off my beloved Broncos to get there. *sighs* Oh well, the Broncos have had their glory in the last decade. Time to pass the mantle, I suppose.
Though, I do believe I'm gonna have to go with the Seattle Seahawks in the Super Bowl. I like their uniforms, and I like Shaun Alexander. Plus, that guy Ken Hamelin from Arkansas plays on their team. Well, he doesn't really play. He got in a fight outside a night club and got beaten with an iron rod or something like that. I don't know if he's better or not yet. For a while he was in pretty shitty shape.
Did you know the Pittsburgh QB, Ben Roethlisberger, wears #7 in tribute to John Elway? Elway was at the game yesterday. Probably a huge moment for Roethlisberger.
Seattle was ranked #1 in NFC, so they should probably be the team that should win, but the Vegas oddsmakers are calling it Steelers by 3 or 4 points, so who knows? Should be a good game. I'm just glad the Steelers made it in.
The Bus is very lucky to have made it home, after his almost game-blowing fumble at the end of the Indy game.
I haven't watched any regular season games, and I only saw a bit of Shaun Alexander yesterday, but I'm sure the Steelers are going to be worried about him. Maybe they can shut him down the way the Seahawks shut down Steve Smith yesterday?
I saw the guy you're talking about, from the fight, on the sidelines. He was horsing around, happily and quite nimbly, he looked to be pretty recovered.
I cry even harder because its true. I think im gonna construct an ELWAY signal thatll work much like the bat signal. Only, Ill use it in situations like yesterday.
