In other news, I spent two and a half hours today listening to other people argue with each other over the experimental design I had chosen for my intervention.
I love getting legit mail, and your postcards are top on that list.
I don't think Bruce Willis in Cop Out was that much different than Die Hard, but I'm glad we agree on the atrocity of Alice. I'll try to blog more on the ol' LJ, so it seems like I do more than just watch movies all day long (even though that's what today's been for me so far).
I've never been a fan of Bruce Willis, but I can admit that he does his best work in films like Die Hard and Armageddon (my father's favorite movie OF ALL TIME). He plays the Hero Who Saves the World really well, but not so much with the Guy Who Just Wants His Baseball Card Back, Damnit. I never thought I'd say this about Bruce Willis but his talents were not fully utilized. Ugh, now I need to go take a shower.
And yeah, Alice was pathetic. I'm embarrassed for Depp, Bonham Carter, and Burton.
I saw Unbreakable a long time ago. I didn't dislike it, but I don't remember being super impressed, either. I haven't seen all of Pulp Fiction, just everything after the part where they shoot the guy in their car, but I'll give it a try tonight.
