Yesterday completely sucked. I had to leave work early because my back hurt soooo bad. I layed out on the back dock so it would relax a bit hopeing to go back to work and then ethan came out trying to be nice and tried giving me a back massage and one he came close to my lower spine my whole body jerked and the pain became like.. 30 times more then

-if you just bend over and let your upper body hang down toward your feet.
-sit on your calves and bend over (kinda fetal position) on the floor.
-lay on your back on the floor w/ your arms stretched out to either side of you. bend one leg and rotate that leg to either side (not necessarily making it touch the floor, unless it's comfortable to do so) and do that with both legs.
other than that i would suggest rest and ice. ice helps to keep the inflammation down and really helps w/ the pain too, i've found. it helps to have people massage it, if they can do it w/ little enough pressure so it won't hurt you. you could also try massaging it yourself. for low back pain it's pretty important to hit the PSIS which are the little bumps on your lower back right around your pelvis. you should be able to feel that on yourself.
