New fishies

Today has been quite exciting. Dev and I finally got two red comet goldfish for my tank! I was worried about the poor wee things, transporting them from the pet shop and hoping they'd like their new home. They were naturally in shock for a while, but adapted quickly. They've spent most of the afternoon playing in the bubbles from the airstone

HAPPY NEW YEAR! Hope you had a nice christmas! We had fish but they all died, l think we needed a bigger tank. Hope your ok !

Happy new year to you too :) I'm hoping my fish will survive. I had fish when I was little, broke all the "rules" (tiny bowl, changed the water completely the wrong way etc etc) but they lived for years until I gave them to someone else with a huge tank! Then my flatmate had fish that I ended up looking after, loved having them around and cleaning their bowl (again the wrong way :P).
I'm doing well, I feel so much better after a holiday! And it's the first time I've basically been "looked after" (didn't have to do cooking and cleaning) in years so it was a real break!! :)
Hope you're doing okay as well. That's so scary about the fire! I'm glad you're okay. I hope this year everything improves for you and you can get on with life. I totally understand what you're talking about in your journal entries. *hugs*

Yeh the fire was scary, think we had a lucky escape. It sounds like you must be doing something right with the fish, as mine didnt last 5 mins lol!!! Glad you had a good holiday, its always good to get away!!! Your lil boy looks cute and as l said in other post, your so lucky having gud weather at xmas!!!! :o) xx
