Writing (or not as the case may be)
I've been on a very long hiatus from writing. I don't count writing audits and personnel reviews as writing.
But I did have fun with writing my "introduction to mangement" blurb for our division newsletter in Bulwer-Lytton format this last week. It was fabulously horrible. I only wonder how many of group will even get it. -
When did the 1970s become "Vintage?"
My brother sent me a photo of a 70's wrought iron peacock chair to ask if Mom still had hers. The photo was labeled "Vintage 1970s Peacock Chair." -
The only problem with claiming your 852 Prospect stories is
I honestly didn't even remember writing "Why Jim Doesn't Like Super Wal-Mart" or anything about giant carrot stories. -

I figured out the userpics problem
I have aggressive virus/malware software with a "shop and bank safely online" feature that blocks potentially harmful sites. It seems that the location of our userpics was considered harmful after one of the more recent updates ( Read more... ) -
I haven't been on LJ since right after Halloween
When I changed my default userpic to something for Thanksgiving. Now I find that no one's pics are showing on my view. My pics don't even show in Semagic.
Is there something going on that I have missed?
Edited to Add: And they don't show up on that horrendous new version of the friends page either.
