Why was I looking up The Vortex?
Naturally, I know why, but what would be the fun in me just telling you? None, of course. So what I want each of you to do is write me a short story (even just a few lines) about The Vortex, what it is, and why I would be looking it up. *grin*

After weeks, months of feeling alone and crying, the vortex decided she needed this to end. She used her psychic powers - of course you know that all vortexes have magic powers - to imprint the word vortex into the mind of a random person.
This person turned out to be blogging enthousiastically and often because of the blogathon. While blogging, she suddenly saw the word Vortex appear in front of her eyes.
What's this, she thought. She shook her head but the word didn't disappear. The longing to look up vortexes on google grew stronger and stronger until at last, she couldn't fight it anymore. She looked up vortexes and... she fell in love with them. She tried her best to understand the beautiful vortex she saw, and she succeeded ( ... )

Deciding to investigate this phenomenon, she went to the laundry room. Thinking that perhaps all her left socks were dirty, she opened the washer. Inside was the most beautiful purkle-and-pink-swirly Vortex-thing she'd ever seen.
Cyn leaped into the Vortex, was reunited with all her left socks and some loving friends that were investigating similar phenomena in their own homes, and a pretty violet lipgloss she'd lost in 11th grade.
And they all lived happily ever after.

she grinned and hugged him. then she patted him on the back and shoved him out the door. she smiled as she opened the curtains to watch as her hubby was wrestling with the massive, swirling vortex. he had a louis vuitton multicolore trouville with him that he had grabbed from cynnie's room to capture the vortex - after all, vortexes for cyn needed a nice place to stay ( ... )
